  I had always been extremely skeptical of psychiatrists and therapists UNTIL I met Dr.Rizvi and Shannon. Now, I would highly recommend their services to anybody. They not only alleviated my skepticism of the validity of their work by doing a great job, but they always have my best interest in mind. I went into treatment under the assumption that psychiatrists push meds, and refused to take some of the medications I was prescribed. I was honest with Dr.Rizvi about what I did and did not want to take and he was extremely caring and receptive and did not “push” any medications. Dr.Rizvi will always make sure you are on the right path to recovery and that you are comfortable. In my first session with Shannon, I told her to her face that I don’t like therapists and I was only there because I had to be, but low and behold that did not spook her one bit. Shannon has always had my best interest in mind and patiently worked to gain my trust without sugar coating anything. She is extremely constructive and tells you what you need to hear all while still being incredibly compassionate. She caters to individual needs unlike any other therapist I’ve seen who had a seemingly “copy/paste” approach if you will. I am so glad I stuck with them, and after a year (and counting) of seeing Shannon and Dr.Rizvi I can honestly say they’ve changed my life for the better. Highly recommend.

  Dr. Rizvi is amazing, he listens to your concerns and really cares about his patients.
  
  Shannon is the best therapist I have ever gone to. She actively listens to the problems you are having, and provides amazing insight! She provides a safe, comfortable, and judgment free environment.

  Dr Rizvi and Shannon are both great. They have been very successful in helping me with the struggles that I have been going through over the last several months due to some of my personal circumstances. If you are going through any kind of mental health issues, I highly recommend making an appointment with them.
