“Very quiet little park with a pretty big spacious field. There isn't a restroom here or any shade areas unless you sit by a tree. But overall it is a good spot to bring my babies to play.”

“This is a nice park. It has a walking trail and it's clean. It has a couple of porta potties. It also has a good size playground for the children. There is some kind of walking trail that goes through the neighborhoods and it appears to be expanding. This is a popular training park for soccer and flag football.”

“It's a park with grass and park stuff so... It is in an area that does not get much traffic so it is nice for the kids. They just added a playground area. Like most El Paso parks, it lacks shade.”

“My kids really enjoyed this playground, ages 4 and 7. The playground is one of the best playgrounds I’ve been to in el paso. The kids felt like they were in a mini castle kingdom, exploring every corner. I would have given it 4 stars, if the place was kept up a little more, more trash on the ground than expected. Overall, a fun place to take the kids to get some vitamin c.”

“This park has a bunch of space for city leagues to practice, depending on size of team 2 or 3 could use it at the same time. It's also great for smaller children because the houses all face inward toward the park so the children always are in eye sight! Absolutely no shade though #elpaso”

“Very nice park that has a walkway around it for you and your pets. Has a jungle gym for kids, also has a Zipline but it tends to break mainly due to heavy set people riding it lol. Basketball court and huge field for other sports is all great.”

“Has lights, a playground, large open area, and a track.”
Address: 1300 Hawkins Blvd, El Paso, TX 79925, USA
“This park is so big and it has everything you’d need in a park. There are walking trails, pet cleanup stations, a modern play set for kids, lots of open space, sand volleyball court, and a basketball court. The park has lights so the play area is well lit in the dark. There are portable outdoor toilets and trash and available as well. It’s walking distance from my house. I love it!”

“Nice park here with a good size walking trail. The walking trail is paved. It's just a large rectangle, which I suppose makes it ideal for soccer games. There is a playground but I didn't see any portable restrooms as with other parks. The grass is getting there but it's still full of weeds and stickers. It's probably as good as it gets in El Paso.”

“I say wow...the most beautiful state park in the entire state so far for me. The landscape, picnic tables , restrooms are very clean. Everything are nice inside out. View of the mountain behind is a plus. Very relaxing. A must stop by place. The staff are awesome too. You can tell they love what they are doing. I wish we hike some trails but run out of time.”

“Drive was about 45 minutes from downtown El Paso to the ranger station. Beautiful drive about 15 minutes before entering the actual park. If you enjoy looking at rocks/boulders, this is the place to go. Everywhere you look, there's amazing views. If this is your first time, you'll need to watch a video about the history and preservation, this is valid for one year. It is 7$ per person. Rangers are all very friendly and knowledgeable. Went in the early morning, make sure to pack water, hikes are short, but there is not much shade. A great place to learn and explore, a section is only available for self guided tours, there are guided tours available that let you explore more of the park. Definitely recommend going to this hidden gem. Encountered a few folks that were bouldering. A very family friendly place. Really appreciate all the that has been done to make sure this area is preserved and well maintained for many, many more generations to enjoy. There were lots and lots of wildflowers throughout the trails. Also, beware of the rattle snakes, saw two in the early morning, be alert, give them their space.”

“Best all around playground/park for kids. Large covered play area. Large picnic area. Big field. Basketball court and a fenced soccer court which is great. Everything is positioned close together so your kids can do different things but you can still keep an eye on them. Great for scooters and roller skates too. Also, there is a port-a-potty.”

“Nice big park with a splash pad. The playground equipment looks new & safe. I was pleasantly surprised that you can rent the indoor venue for parties. It was very nice & clean, tables & chairs were set up. There was a refrigerator, electrical outlets and sink in it as well. The air conditioner worked very well. There are restrooms & porta potty. There was even a security guard present.”
