“The Oak Leaf Retreat is the most amazing retreat ever! We spent the day at the retreat for our family reunion and it was perfect. All of the children and adults enjoyed zip lining, swimming, splashing in the lazy river, tubing, and the pavilion was perfect to sit, eat, and talk as we enjoyed the retreat. We utilized the house to take breaks from the Texas heat, but at this retreat they provided so much and thought of ever detail, even life vest for children. Our entire family was please and the children didn't want to leave. We will definitely return here in the future for our next family reunion and highly recommend this location for others.”

“We had our house built in 2002 and I had done patchwork repairs to the roof over the years. It was time to replace after wind and storm damage and needed professional help. I looked at numerous contractors and viewed their quality of work and materials. This was our first time ever having a roof replaced and it work was done in early April 2021. Steve Young and his crew were phenomenal to work with! He helped educate and guide us through the insurance claim process and made things simple for us. They also took extra care to protect my newly renovated landscaping done in 2020 and attention to debris removal via using tarps on all sides to catch debris and nails. From my own experience Amanda and Kristin are the most caring individuals who love their residents and their jobs. It shows every day. J’Layna was so detailed in explaining the care up front when myself and my dad first visited Brookdale before making the decision to move him. Dad said the food was wonderful and the staff is very caring. Wonderful nurses and techs with years of experience. “Four of us visited on Tuesday evening and ordered 4 all-you-can-eat catfish dinners, three with fries and one with onion rings. The fish was served hot, was flakey and tender and the batter was crisp. The fries and onion rings were good. The portions were large and only one of us had room for a few more pieces of fish which arrived quickly, crispy and hot. The service was good and the owners checked on us during our meal. All in all we were very pleased with our evening at Hard 90.”

“A year ago in 2021 we went on a last minute tour. Very informative and just great commentary. Beautiful town with rich history and a cool thing for me was seeing the old bullet holes from almost a century ago still in the walls. Just relax and walk around, it's a beautiful and quiet town with a great "haunted" history. Very cool and honestly I would do it again”
