“Five stars, great restaurant. I was visiting my grandma in Sugarland for the weekend and had no idea where to find a good Mexican restaurant, so I searched some up and picked this one. My first impression was that the restaurant was extremely small, with around 8 tables and sharing a building with a small convenience store. However, the food is excellent, and their breakfast plates are delicious. The homemade tortillas are also very fluffy and nice. They do not sell drinks, however the adjacent convenience store does, so this isn't a big deal. The restaurant is in fact cash only, however the prices are very reasonable. The service was fast and friendly. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone in the Sugarland area.”

“I went to Cheddar around 12:15PM yesterday with a coworker. Although, I will say that the poor older gentleman hosting was a little confused, we had excellent service! Our waiter was very busy but still extremely attentive. I also wanted to add that The Manager went around to every single table to wish everyone a Happy Valentines Day - I thought that was really sweet. The food was fabulous as always. I have been there on a Friday when they are packed and weekdays during lunch, and yet the service is always exceptional and quick!”

“The interior and exterior of the restaurant is gorgeous and well designed. The food was outstanding. The spicy chicken cube was flavorful and left a nice tingling on the tongue. The sweet and sour ribs were very tender and tasty. Our kids enjoyed the pineapple shrimp fried rice and delicious dumplings. We also split the beef and broccoli which tasted better than any other we've had at other restaurants. All of the food items tasted authentic and it was a very nice dining experience, we will definitely come back!”

Any complaints regarding food or service are taken seriously and being corrected right away . Also on one occasion I had a rough day and I was taking my order from a To Go window , the person who was handing me my order saw my face and gave me a free baklava( dessert ) and said “ Mam , I have added a free dessert for you so this might make you feel better” and I was happy instantly because of his good Gesture. I love this place and always a hit. Must try there Katy branch as well”

“Great steak and Bourbon - frequent business traveler- I stayed at the hotel across the street. When I asked the hotel staff about this place, they didn't say anything bad, but didn't recommend the food. They were WRONG. Based on that info, I came in thinking I was only going to have a Bourbon. They do have a great selection, and I chose the Angels Envy. The staff was very friendly and described the steak special they had on Tuesday. It's off menu, sounded tasty, so I decided to go for it. Glad I did. Very well prepared, good cut of 10oz Tenderloin, and cooked perfectly. As previously stated, I'm a business traveler, in a dress shirt and jacket. Felt very comfortable here, with a good mix of customers. Amber and Haya at the bar were very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.”

“My favorite Chinese place, the General Cho’s is amazing with the way they fry it to give it a little crunch!! The only thing I would change is the fried rice, it leaves much to be desired as it’s dry and scamp on egg and mixed veggies. You can order it with those things but it’s extra where others do not charge for that. Just a pea, chopped carrot, and egg bit in every few bites is what I think should be in there. I only order from Ling’s because of the quality of their meat dishes now, it’s a high recommend!!”

“Had a rough day and the staff here was very very helpful. Great service. I was robbed and left stranded here with a dead phone so I got help from staff to get my phone on to call a ride. I was still there around 1140pm yesterday and my day could’ve gotten much much worse. I Just wanted to post a review asking people to be careful because I was outside and someone offered me a ride but I didn’t take it. It was a long horrible day and I Took two sips from a drink they had and there was definitely a tranquilizer drug or something crazy in it. Please don’t talk to strangers or take anything from them around that area especially if they drive a blue truck. I’m very lucky. This can happen to anyone and I’m hoping to make sure this doesn’t happen again. I’m pretty sure I was given ghb. It was very strong. I took two sips of his bud light beer and within ten minutes I was very intoxicated. I’m lucky my ride showed up when they did. Besides the customer that did that to me the gas station was very helpful and patient with me and they made my day a lot better just by being nice and having empathy.”
