(December 26, 2017, 4:33 pm)This is a great rec center available for free to any Galveston resident with a valid ID. Access to computers, game room with a pool table and ping pong table, workout area, basketball and racquetball court. The workout area features a complete line of stationary resistance training equipment (machine weights) and a large variety of cardiovascular equipment including treadmills, elipticals and bikes. Very big locker rooms with showers and toilets. No need to worry about what to do with your kids as there is plenty of entertainment to keep then busy.
