“We have been coming here since 2015. I checked other places but this is the best. Fabulous staff, reasonable prices and great location! We camp here every summer for 2 months at a time. We have also camped the whole month of February. It doesn't matter what time of year you come in, the park is still clean! We like it so much that we have already booked for next summer! The staff is wonderful! They greet everyone of my grandchildren by name. And Stacy is the BEST when it comes to maintaining the property! We LOVE it here! The only way we would change places is if Gloria, Cindy and Stacy were no longer here!!”

The wedding I attended here turned out to be amazing. So if you are looking for an elegant place to stay in the crystal beach area or a really nice wedding location. This is a great place.”

“This place is wonderful. We have been going for several years now. The staff and management are always friendly. Restrooms are clean. Pool is a great for when you are tired of the beach. They also have a little channel that you can fish or paddle boat in. The whole family loves it.”

“Tl;dr you get what you pay for. Check in was easy enough, I would recommend an upstairs room if you have the choice, this gives you two lockable doors from the outside world. The two queens seem larger than regular queens which is a plus. The rooms are rather small but the cable package is large. Being right across from the beach is a huge plus, but the lack of reliable parking is a downside. Great for college trips to Galveston.”

“All around nice place. The one guy who is at the desk is very nice and helpful. The spots have water, electrical, and sewer. Very close the ocean for ease of access. One downside is there is minimal to no enforcement of the rules. But we have enjoyed and will continue to enjoy going again.”

“Been here for a few months! Staff is always friendly. My rent is very reasonable. When I have issues in my apartment, they come and fix it right away. No bugs in my unit. Very quiet. I like the security of having a gate. anyone just can’t get in unless you have a key or know someone with inside. Overall, the best place I’ve had on the island. I love it here”

“Very nice place. Solid and dependable, clean, nice staff. I don’t expect much from hotel breakfast and it was decent enough. My 2 comments for this place to consider are: you need another waffle maker, the waffle maker is clearly the centerpiece and main event of the breakfast line and with only 1 it got backed up pretty well. And the other thing is your coffee could use some work. I’m not expecting Gourmet, but it should at least taste like coffee not just be coffee colored water. That’s it, 2 very minor complaints. I definitely would recommend this place and stay here again.”

“This is an INCREDIBLE hotel! I went here in late July and i LOVED IT! The staff is nice and friendly, we have our own private beach away from the main beach, and a pool! There are landscaping people who clean up the area near the hotel and they do a great job! there are Trolleys to help you with your bags in the lobby. Its not even that far from the pier! If you're staying in Galveston, this is the hotel to go to!”
