“They were absolutely wonderful with our dog Peanut. He was refusing food & water, almost unable to walk, was lethargic, and over all was not acting like himself at all for the past two days. After calling a dozen vets in the area this morning, no one could get us in today and I was too scared to wait any longer. I called Sea Paws in desperation as I have never used a mobile vet before. They managed to rework their schedule to squeeze him in within 2 hours! While it is a little more costlier than I am used to - I still feel the costs were very fair and were not much more for such amazing service. Especially now that I already see an improvement from the medication they gave him within a couple hours. Dr. Marcum really took her time to interact with our dog and it was obvious that she and her tech genuinely CARE about the patients that they treat. This is more than just a job and it shows. I have never received this level of service at any vet appt in my life. Thank you SO MUCH for coming out as fast as you did and for helping ease my own anxiety about the situation. I read some bad reviews online that made me almost not give them a shot. I am beyond thankful I did not listen to those reviews! A++ service, care, everything! Thank you again! 🩺💉🐕”

“VCA Mainland animal hospital was highly recommended by several of my friends, and though I live in League city, we make the drive to Texas city with our babies. Bodie and Gunner are only 14 weeks old and every time we've been, they are treated exceptionally well. Sunshine sat and talked with us answering all our concerns and questions. Dr. Guthrie is phenomenal!! Our babies feel so comfortable with him. We highly recommend this clinic to anyone who is on the fence about going!”

“We were staying in GALVESTON from Pennsylvania with our 13 year old dog that became sick after eating something she shouldn’t have that caused the runs. After 2 days and no improvement from chicken and rice I called and the staff was very friendly. They told us to bring her right in and assured me that she could be seen. I was thrilled since this was a Saturday. I had a copy of all her records (I highly suggest doing this if you travel with your pets). Dr. Henderson who treated her was very down to earth and put us at ease immediately with his personality. Just hours later we are already seeing an improvement in our girl and we and especially our baby are very thankful to everyone there.”

“While visiting in Galveston, needed to take my 12 yr old Standard Poodle in for swollen glands. Chose The Animal Clinic because of reviews on Yelp and recommendation of a friend who lives here. Was totally pleased with care given. The office has a good, calm, vibe. Dr Feistein saw him, ran some tests. She listened to our concerns, answered our questions, and provided treatment. She was totally gentle and caring with our dog. We were very pleased with all the care, and follow up, given. Would definitely go back/recommend this vet clinic!”

“I was recommended to visit this place from a dear, pet loving friend. It is clean, neat and the staff is wonderful. They were very attentive toward my dog's needs as well as my own. They are very thorough with making sure they have all info about my pet's past and asked questions to make sure we were comfortable. The assistant and the doctor were awesome! You can tell they care about animals and their owners. They tell you the pricing up front, which is very reasonable. They even have treats for the animals to make sure they feel at ease, which quells their anxiety. There is plenty of parking and the business is located in a great area. A win all the way around. 5 stars!”

“Our Friendswood vet sent our 107 lb Dane-Boxer mix for a second opinion. The clinic was clean. The staff treated us in a kind and professional manner. They spoke with our vet to understand our fur baby's case and quirks BEFORE our pup was sedated for an exam that would have been painful awake. The price was less expensive than our normal vet. Should our pup need immediate care and our doc is unavailable, we will make the 45 minute drive to see Dr. Johnson. (Rather than see a substitute vet at our regular clinic). Our Sophie isn't ferocious and we exam with muzzle on to cut down on the intimidation factor. However, you'd be amazed how many vets are overly cautious and fail to provide a really comprehensive exam. Their nervousness translates to the dog, etc. Dr. Johnson wasn't intimidated by her size. If you have a big, well muscled dog this clinic is a good option.”
