“I cannot recommend this place highly enough. I encourage people to read Equity Urgent Care's website. Everything is true as relates to our experience. My wife and I found a great doctor here, Dr. Victoria Hopkins. Her background includes Rice, Brown and Harvard, and extensive experience as a surgeon, family primary care doctor and emergency room doctor. This is a great place for fast, competent, friendly medical service. This is at present the only office location (in the whole country) for Equity Urgent Care. Unlike most other “urgent care” offices, this one is full-time staffed by a medical doctor. You will see a doctor and not a nurse or physician assistant. They have very clean facilities for, among other things, infection testing swabs and X-rays (other services are listed on their website). Dr. Hopkins is very professional and nice. My wife and I were referred here, with high compliments, by the receptionist at Baylor Family Care when we arrived at Baylor too late in the day for their lab to be open. Dr. Hopkins really cares, and saw us late on a Thursday, and also had us come back the next day for a re-check in case my wife’s condition worsened, and on the second day the doctor also checked my condition, She wanted us to see her any time over the weekend as might be needed. We also liked the receptionists that processed our insurance and (very short) paperwork. Dr. Hopkins has done many kinds of testing and procedures at this location, including for example what I think she said was a shoulder reconstruction. My wife and I are so glad to have found this place, which has been here for a year or so. We had no line or wait in either of our visits. We are so glad to discover that there is a place near us for competent, friendly, reassuring, and professional service. We had great confidence in this doctor. We never felt hurried or rushed or that we weren’t able to discuss all our concerns and questions. I rank Dr. Hopkins among my top group of favorite doctors.”

“Tldr, Shy is the best. Came in on Sunday after Thanksgiving bc I needed an emergency haircut and there were no other haircutters that were open in the Montrose area. Hands down the best haircut I've had in a long time. Shy is a hair pro. I have thin hair and curls. This means that it can be difficult to cut right. I came in not knowing what to expect but I can say that Shy exceeded my wildest imagination. She's raised my standards of what a good cut looks and feels like. I love that she uses J. Crew and Nioxin products.”

“My 10 year-old son attended PMA river oaks summer of 2022. (He does not live in Houston the rest of the year) He gained confidence and self-esteem with very few classes. He also made friends and improved his social skills. The instructors, particularly Robert and Alejandro, make learning fun and exciting. My son was excited every time we head out to the class. The staff is very accommodating to the needs of every student (registration, payment, make-up class, etc). Place is clean, great location, lots of parking, parents can spend time in the mall while their children take the class. I was also impressed by the student’s martial arts proficiency.”

“It was a great experience to take part in therapy through play for the Embracing Myself in 2019 group session I attended with my family and boyfriend. We went through themes such as finances, health, spiritual, and emotional well being and were able to discuss these elements of our lives, where we are and want to be. I am a fan of goal setting and most everything that entails so I loved this! Going deeper into these subjects opened up conversation between all of us in attendance both during and after the workshop. Going deeper did bring out certain vulnerabilities which is a step towards embracing but I felt like I needed more steps towards embracing, almost like I needed another couple of sessions! The play and props were a blast and some of the movements led to some fun signature dance moves that will be around for a very long time.”
