“We’ve always passed by this place for almost a year now & im barely finding it??? Oh my goodness! Such a hidden place, it’s right next to a gas station but the service is amazing, it’s really organized and clean inside. The brisket kolache is a MUST. Seeing all the reviews on it, and actually tasting it is spectacular, my favorite is the brisket & also the croissant w cheese and sausage, the donuts were nice and fluffy. She always threw in a couple of mini donuts how sweet! Looking forward to adding this place to my morning routine.”

“Back to the 80's!!! I've been coming here for over 40 years. I'm no longer much of a donut fan myself, but we come here for the kids now. The LOVE IT!! And we love finding and supporting old school local business that are still going. If you want to take your kids back in time to how local donut shops used to be, bring them here. Order some donuts and a chocolate milk then grab a table and "sit for spell" as they used to say. If the Bill the owner is there, as he is most mornings, he can share some great stories with you. Just look at the photos on the wall and you'll see this place is rich in history. Kind of like the "Cheers" of donut shops. The donut shop has been owned by the same family for over 50 years. It used to be a Shipley's Donut but they changed the name to Spring Donut Shop, still the same owners though.”

“I’ve been coming here since I was a kid because of their service and fluffy donuts. I don’t know how they do it, but their donuts are different. You can feel how fluffy the dough is as soon as you bite into a donut. They are the typical mom and pop donut shop in Texas so you are treated very well. They don’t do trends, so you can count on really good classics like glazed, iced, fritters, kolaches. Best part? Today they gave us free donut holes just because! How sweet is that? Absolutely my favorite, hands down.”

“Perry's is such a great local garden spot. During the Summer, they open up to sell strawberries and other fruits and veggies for the season. The family and I always make it a point to visit Perry's yearly for the Fall/Halloween season. It's small but so perfect for the kids to pick their pumpkins, go through the little maze, and roam through the pumpkin garden. They also have a corn maze and hay ride. I hope this place stays around for a long time.”

“Great local breakfast spot! I'm not sure if they are affiliated with the Top Donuts off of Kuykendahl and 2920. I had a Ham/Cheese Kolache and a Cinnamon Twist. The Ham is deli style, not cut up into little cubes like at Kolache Factory. When you bite into the kolache, there are no cold spots and it was served as if it had just came out of the oven. The Cinnamon Twist was sweet and had a satisfying flavor. It was not warm like the kolache, but my experience is that very few places actually have them heated up unless you request it of them. They do sell Coke products and White Monster energy drinks if you're not a morning coffee person. This is a great place to stop for a quick on the go breakfast with very convenient parking.”
