“I really don't get all the negative reviews this place is getting. I spent the last 5 months going to Aguadilla for work every other week and can safely say I've tried virtually every restaurant in Aguadilla, Isabella, San Antonio, Jobos and the Rincon area and even Arecibo. I'm not from Puerto Rico but I've had my fair share of Puerto Rican and Spanish food being from Colombia and growing up around Cubans and Dominican as well. I found this place because I've raved about all the awesome PR food I've had the last few months that a friend wanted to try Puerto Rican food. So off to Google it was and found Borikèn Puerto Rican Kitchen, food truck. They had a good selection to pick from but I went with Sami's Sampler because it had a little bit of everything; Carne Frita, arroz con gandules, alcapuria de carne, tostones, and pastelón de carne which has ground beef, cheese and sweet plantains. Sooo good, sooo good! The Carne Frita or fried pork for non-Spanish speakers was delish! Perfectly crisp pork on the outside, chewy on the inside topped with onions, cilantro and garlic. The arroz con gandules were on point, super moist! The gandules tasted like if they were just hand picked from the tree in your Tia's backyard, and the rice not dry at all like I had in most places in PR! The Alcapuria was not stiff or hard at all and very tasty, not super greasy either like they usually are, muy bueno!! The pastelón seemed premade but still good. Lastly and the staple of all Caribbean countries was the tostones or patacones like we call them in Colombia. They were served with the most popular sauce of all time of Puerto Rico, Mayo-Ketchup. The only suggestion I have is make then thinner so they're crispier when you fry them the second time. These were a bit thick so the inside was a little soft as a result! I def recommend this place just don't go like we did when it was 95° with 1000% humidity outside because being that it's a food truck, sitting is outside and food is also delivered nice and caliente as well. Last suggestion I have is get a liquor license because a Medalla would've washed everything down nicely. Definitely coming back otra vez!”

“This place serves good Chinese food menu at a budget friendly price. This is our first visit to this place and the waitress asked us to try the combination plates. They were pretty ok, the soups had too much arrowroot in them, although they tasted ok. Here are some pictures of the food items we ordered. The ac was broken when we visited though.”

“Excellent restaurant. Quickly greeted and seated by host Diego who was also kind enough to fix our wobbly table. Servers were also very quick and got us drinks and apps within 10 min. Food was also stellar. Really enjoyed the Mango Ahí Tuna Bowl and Alligator Tacos! Remember to order the best and freshest beignets! Would definitely return.”

“The pizzas are delicious, and what makes it phenomenal is the price on Mondays! Our waitress is amazing. Should have asked her name, but she has beautiful curly hair. The pizza was so good, we went back the next Monday, and plan to go back soon. Also, the boudan chip appetizer... wow 👌”

“I love the atmosphere of this restaurant, especially while sitting outdoors with the view of the park lawn and a partial view of the water. The menu might be rotational or seasonal as some of the items I saw on the Google menu, weren’t on their physical menu. The avocado fries were great and so was the Cajun pasta. Prices are higher than a normal restaurant, but since it’s attached to the hotel they charge more. Parking is sparse too, unless you valet.”

“My 1st time here. I just had some free time on my hands before I started my days errands and decided to google a place and try it. So here I am.... I was greeted instantly and sat quickly. My server was nice and helpful when I asked for recommendations. A few seconds later I was served chips and both red and green salsa! I'm a huge fan of salsa verde but thier salsa rojo stole my taste buds! It was served hot and full of flavor! The salsa verde was okay. I ordered the chicaquilas (verde) plate the server said was a popular dish. It is served with beans, and rice. I substituted the rice for breakfast potatoes. I requested over medium eggs with my chicaquilas. Taste wise they were good but the salsa verde on top seemed to be missing ingredients similar to the salsa. The beans needed more salt, and the potatoes looked as though they had been sitting for awhile. They also lacked salt. Overall though my meal was under $10 and I would come back, next time I'll try the rojo chicaquilas instead and request scrambled eggs. I enjoyed my visit and will be back to try more dishes in the future.”

“I'm the new chick that works next door to these guys. I met what I suppose is the owner? He was as sweet as could be, and I'm HOOKED on their food! Juicy chicken, guacamole, maaaan. I don't have to go but a few steps to get some of the best Tex Mex in the area. I'd give 10 stars if I could. Highly recommend giving these guys a shot. The food was too good to stop and photograph before I ate it so I took a picture of the aftermath.”

“Excellent food and fantastic service! I went with friends from work and enjoyed lunch. This was my first pho experience and it was great! The server helped me with my order, and was very much on top of keeping my drink full. Upon check out, she quickly rang every one of us up separately and was happy and friendly to top it off! I’d be back for sure! Getting the large is definitely worth the extra dollar, but definitely not needed… the serving sizes are huge!”

“My son and I decided to try Granny Dees in Spring Texas after reading great reviews online and in a local newspaper. We were not disappointed, the food reminded me of the good ole home cooking from both of my grandmothers. And, the portion sizes are generous and delicious! “This was my first time trying Bread Zeppelin. Atmosphere was pleasing. The store is bright, clean and welcoming. Very modern decor. Large menu with lots of options for soup, salads or Zeppelins. The staff was very helpful when it came to us making decisions and even offered samples of various dressings. I got the "Create Your Own w/ Shrimp" and the "Washington State". Both were good. They also carry a unique assortment of juices. We got the Pink Guava lemonade.”
