They have a solid variety of weights and strength-training equipment, which allows for a well-rounded workout. The cardio area is also well-equipped, giving me plenty of options to get my heart rate up! What really sets this gym apart, however, is Austin though. He is friendly and very helpful. I've had my fair share of times I've had to contact him about something and every time he has been able to help out as soon as he can! All in all, I am extremely happy with my decision to join. “I first would like to say the entire staff, regardless of position, have been very supportive of me since I started my weight loss journey especially Nick. I started last November at 335 pounds and I am currently weighing 210 pounds. This is the perfect gym for me and what I was trying to accomplish. I am extremely busy but Hotworx allows me to get my workout accomplished without have to spend hour and hours everyday in the gym. The hotblast and thunder row are my favorite machines and the 130 degree temperature helps with detox. I have truly found a home. I encourage if any of you are in Cypress to give Hotworx a try. “I will be honest, when my boyfriend started with CrossFit JWD I was nervous and didn’t want to join. He convinced me to come just once… Johan was so helpful. I didn’t know anything on my first day and Johan spent majority of the class 1 on 1 helping me learn the proper movements and form. I cancelled my other gym membership shortly after that and don’t miss a day at CrossFit unless I HAVE to! I love the small family atmosphere. I have made some great friends and really hit a bunch of my fitness goals with CrossFit JWD!! 10/10 would recommend working out with Johan”

Only complaint is they only have 5 treadmills one has been out since I started coming here and recently two of them have been out of order for about two weeks . Leaving only 2 treadmills which really sucks . Hope they fix this issue soon.”

Over the past year or so that I have been working with Kim, her thorough knowledge of muscles, breath, and movement and her focus and dedication have helped me become more balanced and aware of how I use my body. “My 10 year-old son attended PMA river oaks summer of 2022. (He does not live in Houston the rest of the year) He gained confidence and self-esteem with very few classes. He also made friends and improved his social skills. The instructors, particularly Robert and Alejandro, make learning fun and exciting. My son was excited every time we head out to the class. The staff is very accommodating to the needs of every student (registration, payment, make-up class, etc). Place is clean, great location, lots of parking, parents can spend time in the mall while their children take the class. I was also impressed by the student’s martial arts proficiency.”

“Jessica is an amazing teacher! She modifies naturally for all levels. She does a fantastic job at reading her class, which varies quite a bit, and includes advanced poses for those needing more while also including ways to modify for others that may need more gentle poses while recovering from surgeries, injuries, etc. I love that she includes natural herbs, essential oils, and sound healing to enhance many of her classes. She’s constantly learning and refining her practice, and passes her knowledge on to her students. Her presence alone is calming and inviting. She’s definitely my favorite yoga instructor! So glad I found her.”
