“I made a lot of friends and had a generally pleasant experience. Not all the teachers are good, but many are exceptional. Being self motivated and organized is especially important here just due to the sheer size of the student population. Sure there are fights and drugs and scary kids, but none of which will effect your experience unless you seek them out. All and all a pretty good, if imperfect place to begin your adult life.”

“We feel so lucky to have Dr. Jerome as our kids’ English reading and writing teacher. She has been involved in education for many years. She is a very experienced teacher. Her class is well organized, with clear focus, and very appealing to children. She always encourage my kids. They become more confidence in reading and writing. Before school test, she will also provide more exercises and teach kids some methods and tricks to solve the problems. Both of my kids have achieved very good score after learning with her. We are very happy to see our kids love reading now. We definitely want our kids to continue learning with Dr. Jerome.”

Mrs. Priti takes the time to nurture, educate and encourage my child throughout each daily interaction. His previous daycare was crowded and I felt as though he was getting lost within the mix. I love that I can be involved in his schooling and he still gets the classroom experience. Such a wonderful alternative to straight homeschool or full time private school. “For several years we have been a family at this wonderful school. The staff have been so dedicated to raising my kids to be independent, respectful and strong leaders. They have cared for my little ones like family members and it shows in their bond with the kids. We are excited every day to go to school and the kids come home able to described what they worked on daily. Recently we switched to a “high profile” preschool and we returned to MKU- Katy within 2 weeks of leaving. We were making the switch for location reasons, but it became clear very quickly that they were lacking the structure, caring staff and the tools to meet the needs of our little one. You cannot put a price on peace of mind when it comes to the care of your child. I would recommend this school for anyone wanting a solid learning foundation and safe growing environment for their little ones. “I have been going to yoga and Tai Chi evening classes here since September 2021. I have always been interested in the practice of Tai Chi and yoga and it seemed that these forms of exercise wouldn't over-stress my 69 year old, overweight body. The movements that Daniel, our instructor, puts the class through are simple and easily followed but WOW!, has this made a difference in my life ! The stretching, movement and mindfulness exercises that Daniel teaches have helped to improve how I feel both physically and mentally. I have more energy and a more positive mindset which has been instrumental in helping me to lose 25 pounds so far ! The classes are a mix of people of all ages and at different levels of ability so Daniel's instruction is geared to be challenging to the younger members with modifications for those who need them. I highly recommend Katy Body and Brain to anyone looking for a form of exercise that is effective and enjoyable!”

He now knows how to identify numbers, letters and their initial sounds all in Spanish. He has even learned how to write his name on his own!
