“Definitely warm and cozy. It is dated and feels like you stepped back in time. Not a bad thing in my book especially given the daily stresses of the fast paced city life. Dog friendly and the view is amazing being right on Cypress Creek.”

“Few of us stayed here for friends wedding at a nearby venue and had a great time. We rented all the tiny homes and it was the perfect spot for us to get ready, sleep and unwind afterward. The tiny houses are so cool and specious! We particularly enjoyed the outdoor games and fire pit. 15 min to all the shopping/food in dripping springs.”

“I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep it as our little secret place to stay while in Wimberley. We have participated in the Ride to End Alzheimer’s for the past two years and have stayed at Square Inn both times. We found this place by accident and so glad we did! Marci and Lloyd are the perfect hosts. Rooms are clean and very comfortable. Both times they allowed us a late check out time so that we could shower after our ride before hitting the road to Houston. It is just walking distance to everything and we can just ride down the road to our ride event. Great courtyard to enjoy the evening right outside your door! We really like this place and will be back again soon (and next year for our ride). If there were more stars to give for this place, I would give them more.”

“We had a great time at Blair House. The Wimberley Cottage was beautifully remodeled and decorated. The bed was luxuriously comfortable and both bathrooms were spa-like. The turn-down service with wine and dessert in the evening was a nice touch and the food at breakfast was delicious. The staff really go out of their way to make you feel special. The next time we go, we will take our swim suits so we can enjoy the pool. It was a perfect place to enjoy the hill country scenario. We will definitely go back!”

“We stayed in Ancil’s attic & had a fantastic experience. Cissy was kind & had great communication, price was fantastic. The cabin was clean, well decorated, bed was so comfortable, had cable, phone service (not that you need those last two, but just incase), and had everything we could have possibly needed for our stay... but more importantly the view is SPECTACULAR! Enjoy your wine (or no wine 🤷🏻♀️) in their hot tub & forget all your worries. We recommend going zip lining at wimberly zip lining (it’s a little expensive but sooo worth it, a once in a life time experience if you ask us), visiting Wimberly square, eat at the Longleaf, go shopping (or browsing if you prefer) in the square, and visit local wineries! (When you finally decide it’s time to get out of your beautiful cabin or front porch). Shopping/restaurants/ wineries are such a short drive. We will for sure be back & send friends to these cabins ♥️✨”

“We stayed here for a long weekend and had a wonderful time! We stayed in the Garden Room. It was super comfortable space, cutely furnished. The bed was very comfortable and the room had a nice coffee station and mini fridge. Everything was very clean. It was lovely having coffee and sitting out on the porch. There was also a hot tub that we used on the chilly nights - so fun to relax in and look at the stars. The inn is located on a beautiful, quiet property. Everything we wanted to go to was 15-20 minutes away, so it was well located. The owner of the inn was available for any questions we had. Can't recommend this place enough!”

“I enjoyed my time at Flite Acres Ranch. All the sites were close to the water, and they weren't unreasonably big or small. The only complaint I have is the lack of shade. There were trees that provided shade, but none were over the camp sites, so there was nowhere to hide from the sun. But overall, my trip there was fun.”

“We stayed in the sunflower ridge cabin in San Marcos. The views are amazing and it’s very quiet and peaceful out there. The hot tub is why we chose this cabin, we did have issues with it turning off every 5 minutes but outside of that we really enjoyed it. I will warn you the bedroom is loft style with a low ceiling so if you are tall this might not be the cabin for you. Overall loved the experience I would absolutely go back.”

“Absolutely gorgeous, magical, sparkling yoga weekend at Ruby Retreats. Really well thought-out logistics made the stay comfortable and seamless. The catered vegetarian food was top-notch. Thoughtful decor touches included plush towels and a badass book collection in the common area. The nature walk from the lodging area to the yoga barn provides a lovely transition from social time to classroom time and back. A highlight of the weekend was the expertly facilitated drum circle on top of the hill with a gorgeous sunset playing in the background and the night sky milky with stars, topped off with a ride in the back of a pickup truck back to the lodge. I don’t know about you, but I don’t get to ride in the backs of pickup trucks too often, and my friends, this was a delight. Five stars: gorgeous venue, uniquely laid out and flawlessly organized. “We absolutely loved our stay at Creekhaven Inn! From the beginning, the staff was so welcoming and caring, and they really thought of every little thing. The breakfast was delicious, and the rooms were spotless and adorable. They even left a handwritten note on our breakfast tray the first morning welcoming us - who does that anymore? Such a nice touch! You can tell they really take pride in what they do and are happy to have you stay there. We also loved the amenities: kayaks, creek access, bikes, hot tub - we did it all!
