“Booking here for our 10 year wedding anniversary was the best decision we have made since we got married. From the moment we arrived we were treated like family. Staff is kind, caring, knowledgeable, super friendly and fun!! The grounds are gorgeous and very well maintained. The store has everything you need, the pool is the perfect temperature day and night, and every bathroom/bath house was clean and well stocked. Between the pickleball courts, corn hole boards, pool table, outdoor kitchen and swimming pool, we were never bored. The only problem we had was leaving to return to west Texas. We will return every chance we get.”

As for the the person complaining about it should be an adult rv park; 🙄🙄 maybe you should find a park exclusively for adults and stop telling people what they should do with their own property. “This a great RV Park for a visit or long term. We'll kept property. Facilities were always clean. Beautiful grounds (lots of newly planted trees) Compared to some other places I've stayed, it doesn't feel crammed. I stayed there for several months. Management and staff were fantastic. The location was perfect for me. Close to everything I needed, but far enough from the freeway to avoid the noise. Because it is on the edge of the city, it can get a bit breezy. But the quiet rural feel more than makes up for it. The pool with deck is a great feature. The playground for little kids is nice, but not impressive. If you enjoy walking for enjoyment or exercise, you will love this place. The walking paths within and around the perimeter of the park are very nice.”

“Very quite & peaceful. Mostly nice mobile homes here. However, they're packed so tightly in here that we don't really have a yard, or much room at all to build a fenced in area for the dogs. If you don't mind that & having very close neighbors, it's a great park to live in. We feel safe here letting my 9 year old niece walk home from the bus stop, & safe in general.”

“This park is true gem ! My family stayed here for a few months and it was absolutely wonderful . The grounds are super clean and the bathrooms here are top notch . The park is very pet friendly we have 2 large dogs and there is a large field to play and walk . The roads around the park are not busy at all so we were able to go for long walks . The views of the hills and night sky are superb . The staff was super helpful ,anything you may need or any issues are handled quickly . Anytime we are in the area we will definitely be returning here. Thank you all for a great stay and keep up the great work!”

“I've lived here for about 6years now. It's quiet and peaceful for the most part. We stay to ourselves and don't have many issues with anyone. Our only complaint is our next door neighbor and another neighbor tend to play their music so loud my house shakes. We have complained to every manager we have had, and nothing changes. States in lease it's not aloud. Same as fireworks, but every year we deal with our neighbors 🏠 hitting our home with them. I'm scared my home will catch on fire. We follow the rules, so should everyone else.”

“I'm currently relocating from several hours away and my home is closing faster than expected. I have spent the last week looking in Austin and the surrounding areas. I've looked at other Sun Communities and other mobile home communities not owned by Sun and can honestly say that out of everyone I've spoken to they have been both the most hospitable and knowledgeable out of everyone. San Marcos is a little further out than what I preferred but I would rather make the drive and live somewhere I felt comfortable then save a few dollars and be miserable. They will absolutely have my business.”

“Spartan but fair. Most of the people who live here are contract workers, nurses, appliance repair technicians. Many are in the process of building homes on land they own nearby. Make sure you have a good shower in your RV or get a gym membership and use theirs, because ther is no bath house here. There is a great laundromat, and dogs and children are very welcome. It's wonderfully quiet at night.”

“Our little family of my wife, our young daughter, and our two pups stayed here for a week while I worked remotely and she finished up her maternity leave. It was a great getaway. The park was quiet, clean, everything was as expected per the website, wifi was GREAT for working, and the owner Sally was a dream to work with. We would highly recommend this place and can't wait to get back to Wimberley!”

“I'm not one that stays at RV parks. I prefer natural areas. But, while traveling through TX we needed a place to stay for the night. We meet some nice people here. The sites are. at least ours was true to advertised very level and far more spacious than the online map. With pull through sites and full hookups. The restrooms and showers were immaculate. The pool was clean. They have a very nice man made lake that is tranquil and perfect for kayaking. The grounds and amenities were pristine. Good experience. We would stay again.”

“A basic campground with lots of workers. All sites were clean, not junky. Seemed like a lot of people who just needed to be in San Marcos for work or visit. Not a resort - no pool, playground or other amenities. Right on the feeder road. Small dog park with broken gate. Bathrooms were clean, with hot water and plenty of pressure. Laundry looked okay. Campsites are very wide, roads are good. Cell service on Verizon very good. If you need to be in San Marcos for some reason, this is a good base of operations. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.”

It's better than paying a 1000 a month on a house that you can't stand your neighbors so bad that when you see them outside you wait for them to leave. At least there you can just scream at each other and who cares! So I suggest we all together now go get a trailer and spend our money on doing fun things.”
