“Excellent. For price we've paid more for less. Full kitchen, nice covered full porch where I sat reading sipping scotch & eating peanuts. Didn't get cold enough to light fire in fireplace tho😞. Dog friendly they loved it. Got to roam off leash just keep them close. Huge king size bed. TV with direct TV service. Surrounded by cedars & oaks. Excellent HQ to travel to many nearby places-wineries, distilleries, parks etc”

“Very reasonably/economically priced. Room was clean. Including beds and sheets. The bathroom needed some TLC, a brighter light, floor tile and corners need a little extra scrub…but water was hot and had great pressure. Upon first arriving, I had my doubts, exterior was run down. It was 4:30AM and the night clerk was a little abrasive, but ended up being fine. The other desk clerks during our stay were very pleasant. You can tell the hotel is being worked on and in process of updates. Housekeeping staff was very polite and approachable, and helpful. As a travel softball mom, my family needs economical, cleanliness, and a comfortable place to reboot and refresh for next days games. All needs were met.”

“A basic campground with lots of workers. All sites were clean, not junky. Seemed like a lot of people who just needed to be in San Marcos for work or visit. Not a resort - no pool, playground or other amenities. Right on the feeder road. Small dog park with broken gate. Bathrooms were clean, with hot water and plenty of pressure. Laundry looked okay. Campsites are very wide, roads are good. Cell service on Verizon very good. If you need to be in San Marcos for some reason, this is a good base of operations. We camped at Canyon Trail RV Resort in a Fifth Wheel.”

“I stayed here last night with a friend in room 401 and the hotel and our room were very clean. The breakfast was the BEST prepared Holiday Inn breakfast I have had and I’ve stayed at many Holiday Inn’s over the years, cinnamon rolls were fresh and HOT, biscuits and sausage gravy, eggs that didn’t taste like powdered eggs, and fresh hot coffee. Not to mention the the workers in the breakfast area were very polite and had a friendly smile! Thank you!”

“Comfort Suites in Kyle is our favorite hotel when guests come to visit. For me, developing relationships and connections with area businesses are a priority. Thankfully, I have an awesome rapport with the employees at Comfort Suites and therefore trust has been established. My 90 year old father came for a visit in December and to say I was PARANOID about his safety is an understatement. I contacted guest services and Christian reassured me their team would go above and beyond to follow COVID protocol. Additionally, the House Keeping Manager Maria took it upon herself to disinfect the room from top to bottom. Her demonstration of compassion and empathy alleviated my fears. She took it upon herself to ensure the job was done properly because that is what she would want for her at risk family member. During these stressful times their demonstration of empathy and compassion was invaluable. Furthermore, the circumstances were such that Christian was able to keep the room vacant for two days after the cleaning to ensure my dad’s safety. I am EXTREMELY grateful he was able to offer this extra layer of protection. During the reservation process and prior to my dad’s arrival we exchanged approximately six phone calls. Christian facilitated communication and was extremely patient which further solidified my confidence. Nate has been there since they opened and he too played an integral role in assisting me during the night shift. I can’t say enough good things about the quality of this hotel and more importantly the character of the staff. Thank you, Comfort Suites for choosing to be a part of my extended family!!!”

“We had an excellent girls' spa getaway at Sage Hill. The spa was amazing. Dinner was fresh with good portions. They did a great job of making us feel safe with contactless dinner and breakfast delivery to the room. It was a very relaxing escape. Probably should have realized there was no elevator to our 3rd floor room, but that didn't detract from the overall weekend.”

They both answered all of my questions through email and were accommodating to anything my family or I asked of them. The day of was perfect and Madelyn and Kelli helped with set up and take down and even helped direct the vendors since I did not have a wedding coordinator. They did such a good job! “We were stuck in a predicament while traveling to our new home state and it was extremely distressing to say the least. Long story short, we needed a hotel quickly and when I called Candlewood Suites in Buda, Rossie quickly took care of our needs over the phone. Not only was she professional, she was sympathetic and really helped to alleviate the stress I was under. When we arrived, we found the room extremely clean and spacious. The water pressure is great and you can do laundry at their facilities, which is a God-send when you’re traveling with a toddler and pets. “I am a Hilton Diamond member so I stay at alot different Hilton/Hampton/Hilton Garden Inn properties. I stayed here in mid Nov 2021. Everything was great! ATTENTION GYM USERS: This hotel has up to 75lb dumbbells in their fitness center! Most hotels (if they have them) only have up to 50lb dumbbells. So, if you workout with free weights & need bigger weights this hotel is a great option. They also have a few other machines as well as a cable/multipurpose weight machine. It's a nice big fitness center with mirrors etc. The rest of the hotel was nice, new & modern as of Nov 2021. My room was great, clean, modern, & had a standing/stall shower with sliding glass doors which is another bonus in my book. I had the King with a desk/full couch with a laptop stand to work on if you need that. Room has a fridge & microwave. Good amount of power plug options for electronics. Hotel was convenient to freeway access. Staff were pleasant & helpful during my stay. Breakfast area was nice & food was good (standard Hampton option/selections).”
