“Let me start off by saying that I am upset at my self for not going sooner. We live on the Rowlett side of the the Bridge, still inside Rockwall county. Not that far, but a good 30 minute drive and being lazy and hungry we always went for the closer options. Well, that will not be the case going forward. We went on a Friday night and the place was packed, but service was still great. There was a live band that was great too. Okay, so when we pulled up the parking lot was packed and spilling into the back that was 60 vehicles deep. We thought we were going to have to wait for a while but, after the drive we were okay with that. When we walked in we were greeted with a big smile and a welcome. The hostess let us know that there would be a little bit of a wait on food. We did not mind and we were Guided to our seats and prvided menus. Our server was at the table within 4 or 5 minutes and got our drink order. I got unsweet tea, my wife got water. The tea was amazing, strong and I had 5 glasses! We ordered the fried pickles for our appetizer, they arrived in about 15 minutes. Not a long wait in my eyes! I was very happy to see they were LIGHTLY breaded. They had an amazing crunch and the ranch was so good. None of the pickels tasted greasy at all. For me, that is a huge plus! As we kept eating and got down to the bottom of the basket we noticed there was sitting oil down in the bottom. That was a bit of a surprise as none of them were greasy, accept the last few still sitting on the bottom. Another 10 seconds to drain would have been PERFECT, but with the kitchen being rushed and backed up, they wanted to make sure the wait was not too long so I respect that so I was not upset at all. The menu offers so many different options, that it was a bit overwhelming to choose. When trying a new place my wife and I always end up getting something we both want, so we can share. That way we both get to try something at the new place! I landed on the chicken fried steak. It comes with mashed potatoes, and beans. The steak was fantastic and moist. The crust was crispy and had tons of flavor. The gravy lacked a bit of salt, but thats totally okay to me because I tend to like more salt than most people. When it comes to salt and pepper, I like to be able to add my own. My wife got the Bacon Cheeseburger, with sweet potato fries. OH MY GOSH!! The bun had to be potato bread or something because it was soft, sweet, and paired with that burger so well. The bacon was GOOD bacon, not that thin overcooked garbage most places serve and call it bacon. The burger was juicy and cooked to perfection. In fact, it was so good, that my wife would only offer me 2 bites HAHAHA. But man, those were some good bites. NOw, I am not a fan of sweet potato fries, and I only ate a couple. They are just not my thing, however my wife said they were amazing. We truly enjoyed our whole experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is relaxed, friendly and everyone makes you feel like you are home when you are there. If you are on the fence about trying this place, jump off and start running. The prices are VERTY reasonable, the service is amazing, everyone is friendly and the atmosphere is so inviting. I can see spending many of nights here in the future!”

“Great Italian Restaurant!!! Bailey was our server and she was amazing. You walk in and are automatically greeted with a smile. The staff is extremely sweet and take great care of their customers. We ordered the Italian Trio and the Spaghetti. The lasagna was great and so was the Chicken Parmesan. Spaghetti wasn’t bad (we did remove the mushrooms due to taste). Only reason this didn’t receive a 5 star is there were some gnats flying around the table and the Alfredo in the Italian Trio I felt wasn’t seasoned enough as well as the mushrooms in the spaghetti didn’t taste like they had been washed before cooked. Desert looked amazing although we were too full from the meal to try any. The women’s bathroom is strange, it does lock but there’s no stalls with 2 toilets. The restaurant was clean and looked well maintained. I’d definitely go back again!”

“It was lunch time and not really anyone there. Food was delicious and it came out super fast. I also got a delicious frozen mango margarita. The server kept checking on me to make sure everything was good, and if I needed anything.”

“🍽️ Had a fin-tastic time at Ciro's Seafood, just 5 mins East of Buc-ee's! And don't worry, it's technically out of "Rockwall Island" - but you can keep reading! 😄 🚗 Ample parking and a drive-thru window, so you can call ahead and make a splash with your order! 🏖️ Inside, it's like a mini beach vacation, with great lighting and background music to set the mood. 🎶 You order at the counter, with large menu overhead. TV’s are mounted showing specials and food galleries. 🍴 The menu is a sea of options! Chilled, fried, grilled, boiled, naked - they've got it all! Even burgers, desserts, and more to satisfy all tastes. We started with some okra (delicious), and a side salad to offset some of the incoming fried and dessert. 👀 You can see the kitchen staff working their magic with big smiles, making the place even more inviting! 🌽 Our little one loved the corn dog and fries, while I dove into the fried catfish & shrimp combo with all the fixings! My wife went for the naked shrimp 🍤 and a baked potato, keeping it classy! 👨🍳 Ciro, the owner, was there too! Always a plus when you can chat with the captain of the ship! 🌟 With over 550 - 5 star reviews on Facebook, you know it's a pearl among seafood spots! And before you wave goodbye, make sure to try the coconut pie! 🤤 It's a wave of deliciousness! 🐟 We'll definitely be sailing back to Ciro's Seafood for more tasty adventures! You should dive in too! 😄”

“I love this place for some local Mexican cuisine. Just a small, hometown feel to it. I always enjoy the chicken fajitas. They may have scaled back a little on the portions of grilled veggies, but it was perfect for me. I plan on coming back again.”

“Lovely little hole in the wall Italian restaurant, we did almost miss it driving to it. At first, we weren't sure if the restaurant was open or not; the only indicator was the open sign. We went for an early dinner around 4 pm, the restaurant wasn't busy. The atmosphere was quiet and quaint, the music wasn't too loud like you find in some restaurants. Our waitress was wonderful, very friendly and attentive. She covered the whole restaurant as more people came in. We started off with complementary bread and ordered oil to go with it. The oil had a robust flavor full of herbs and garlic. If you do not like garlic, then this would not be for you since there was a generous amount of garlic in the oil. We proceeded to order spaghetti with meat sauce, manicotti, and the pasta sampler. The pasta sampler included lasagna, manicotti, and cannelloni. The portions were more than enough, and the flavors were rich but not overpowering. We did order a baklava to go, which had the perfect flake to it. It was sweet but not too sweet and had the perfect drizzle on top. Perfect way to end the meal.”

“No matter how long the ridiculous line is they are always on point. Customer service is excellent and orders are always correct and quick. If other fast food places could take note on how to run the drive-thru this would be a prime example 🙂”

“I admit I almost didn't come to this place because of the styrofoam plates in the reviews, but WOW! I am so glad we dropped in for lunch. We got tacos, tamales, child sized quesadilla, and chips with salsa. Everything is good! Seriously. We had three varieties of salsa and enjoyed all of them -though the salsa verde is my favorite. Everything is reasonably priced. We would be regulars if we were locals. (Please give me a thumbs up if you found this review helpful.)”

“We stopped in during a basketball tournament for lunch and really enjoyed it. The food came out quickly and was good. The portions were a good size and we all ended up taking to go boxes home. They have a decent selection of domestic bottles and house made margaritas to order. Our server was a little overwhelmed as she was the only one working, but did a great job.”
