It’s unbelievable the way they make you feel like they’ve been apart of your life for so long. From day 1 I walked in there feeling like family. Everyone is so kind, and efficient; I’ve never had to wait more than 10-15 minutes for a script, the employees always have a smile on their face and are ready to help in any way they can. “Short Version Review: This place is amazing! We are extremely fortunate to have found the Academy of Okinawan Karate (AOK). We've now been enrolled for one year now and look forward to several more years. My kids are inspired and have experienced tremendous growth mentally and physically. Long-ish Version Review: Very few opportunities, like the one that presented itself to us when we first walked into the Academy of Okinawan Karate, come around in a person's life. The founder of Okinawan Shuri-Ryu karate was Grand-Master Robert Trias (Tenth Degree Black Belt). He founded the first karate school in the mainland United States and was one of the first known American Black Belts, but has since passed away. Shihan Joseph Walker (9th degree black belt), owner and operator of the Academy of Okinawan Karate, was trained directly by Grandmaster Robert Trias. He has been teaching Okinawan Shuri Ryu Karate for over 40 years. He is a great man and a great teacher. Everyone here is like family and makes each new member feel comfortable. Opportunities to train under someone of this caliper NEVER happens. Finding someone like Shihan Walker and the AOK in a little town, like Burleson, Texas is analagous to finding a pearl in an oyster. Go get your free lesson and meet Shihan. He's one of a kind, as is AOK.”

“Wife was at 42 weeks and we came to Dr Glover for a second opinion. It ended up being the same outcome, C section, but he took the time to explain all the reasons why. He does take his time to think about what he is going to say next and also looks away when thinking. This was explained up front so we knew it wasn’t any disrespect. It was the upmost respect TGIF him to care about what he says next. He told my wife multiple times he was sorry it had to turn out this way as he knew from just a shot talk how important a VBAC attempt was for her. She was not favorable and a stranger to him but he explained in detail as why he felt it was not a good idea for VBAC. All this while on call and meeting us at 11pm. The surgery happened 3 hours later and went well. The nurses in the maternity ward were so nice and helpful. Watching babies at time so we could sleep. Shout out to Amanda and Michelle for being the best to us. The others were just as great but Amanda and Michelle really stepped in to help us the most.”

“Had two babies and two different OB/GYNs for each pregnancy. The difference between the two was night and day—love Dr. Lorenz! He listens to his patients, has a great bedside manner, and he is very knowledgeable. He explains complex things in ways you can comprehend. I wish I could have used Dr. Lorenz when I had my first baby! Office staff is very nice and friendly as well! All around a great place for getting the care you need. Highly recommend!”

She was able to give him a great haircut despite some tears and him sitting in my lap for part of it. I appreciated her excitement to work with my clients and her willingness to be flexible. She will now be cutting my clients’ hair regularly. If you have a child who is hypersensitive and struggles during haircuts, take them to Tiffany!”
