“Overall it was pretty good. Only issues were zero music playing at Pirates cove water park and the water park being closed early one day for weather. The weather was 10 miles out and actually cleared up nice and sunny within minutes but the life guards were celebrating when it started sprinkling. I overheard then say things like "yes! It's only 2 hours until close so we should just keep it closed", "finally, I hope we are shutting down". I mean, I get the safety factor for sure and I also get the young teens being excited to not work. Maybe suggest to the staff that it's not very professional nor considerate to the guests to do that. Also, they have a nice DJ booth in Pirates Cove. I'd suggest paying something, even a playlist, anything. Other than those, the park was huge compared to some others. Pretty maintained and pretty clean (other than the several long term guest's sites, those were a little clustered). Everyone was nice when talking with them. Lots and lots of new additions coming (being built) now which will make this park pretty dang awesome. Paintball and the other games were fun!”

“Great place. The homes are old but they clean them up nicely and super affordable. The yards are big and well taken care of by the grounds people. The office Lady is super sweet and straight forward about prices and she is very helpful with spare keys, extra batteries, and whatever you need for your home. I love this place.”

“This was the most amazing place with fantastic host & hostess. We rented the Inn for 2 days to have the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Marvelous! “I was a nice place and it worked for our reunion. Maximum capacity is only 48 (sign on wall states this). They needed ceiling fans in the lodge room to circulate air. The kitchen was the coolest place to be if you got too hot. There was a fridge, stove/oven sinks. It was close to the water and the restrooms were clean.”

“Me and my husband got married her in may, it was perfect! Let me just start out by saying the venue is beautiful. Our wedding didn’t go as planned by a long shot, but that was because of some weather issues that arose the night before causing a power outage. As soon as it happened Kathy was in contact already working on a back up plan. Her and her maintenance crew were out there first thing in the morning getting things back in place. She was so accommodating, and kind. She kept her cool and kept finding ways to keep things running smoothly! But like I said the venue is breathtaking and the perfect spot of your planning a rustic wedding and the guest house is beautiful as well!!”

“The rooms were great and much better then what I expected. We had a kitchen which included a full size refrigerator sink, counter top with a stove top in the middle and a little breakfast bar for 2 with 2 stools on the other side for seating. We also had planet of cabinet space and a full size microwave over the stove. Everything was very clean and I really mean that. I didn't have to do any cleaning like you usually have to do with other hotels and motels. This place was extremely clean from top to bottom! It definitely made for a more pleasant evening, not having to clean our room right when we first got there. We had a very enjoyable stay and definitely will come back and tell our friends.”
