We heard about TEXAS 1809. I ordered chicken fried steak and BJ had the Jager Schnitzel with sausage. BJ's schnitzel was awesome, huge, and flavorful. My chicken fried steak was thick, crispy, and perfectly fried without being greasy. The German sausage was juicy, plump, not overcooked, and elevated by German mustard. The portions were huge, served on platters and the side dishes were wonderful. The ambiance was Texas casual. Our waitress, Mykah, was very friendly and attentive, without being intrusive. Friday and Saturday evenings they have live music on the patio. We'll be back y'all!
Great service. Curly fries are different but very good. Onion rings very tasty and crisp. Thick chicken fried steak w/gravy had to bring half of it home for another meal. All was very good and satisfying
We had an amazing birthday experience here at 1809! I had the Jager Schnitzel and it was absolutely delicious. The service was above and beyond! We casually mentioned that we would be there for my birthday and they fully decorated our tables. So thoughtful and sweet. I cannot wait to come back!!!
Had a German sausage sandwich on marbled rye bread. It was very good. Will visit this place again when I'm back in town.
The quality of the food justify the pricing point at this establishment. I feel that there is room to grow for the staff. The customer service was great overall. Keep up the good work.
