“My son has gone here since before Dr. Maria passed. Now he sees her son, Andreas. He has a great bedside manner and actually listens to parent input. He has no problem making referrals for specialists if needed. He really tries hard to engage with my son and even takes a minute or two to look at whatever he's just drawn. We do sometimes have to wait a while, even with an appointment. I think that's to be expected with any medical practice that accepts government insurance and any doctor that doesn't rush their patients. The waiting area is not huge and often parents bring a few children or other adults with them, so on a really busy day it can be quite crowded. There is an overflow room set up for when that happens. I prefer to see Dr. Andreas, but Dr. Sheila and PA Andy are great, too! The front office ladies really hustle, but still manage to make us feel at home.”

“I stepped into a gopher hole in the field, resulting in detachment of an ankle ligament from the bone. A chunk of bone came away with the ligament. Dr. Tom operated on my ankle, and pinned the bone back in place. I had very little post-operative pain, the ankle healed quickly, and without even a scar left from the surgery. Dr. Tom is an excellent surgeon. I have had several unrelated foot and ankle problems, and he does not recommend surgery if there is another way to fix a foot or ankle problem. If you want caring and competence, and a helpful, friendly office staff, go see Dr. Tom.”
