“Delicious! Hands down best pizza around! The place is clean and the servers are nice. When you walk in you get more of a bar vibe than restaurant. They have an entire wall with their alcohol selections written on it and a bar almost the length of the dining area. That aside, it was family friendly at 3pm on a weekday. They use good quality ingredients on their pizzas. Good menu selection also. Salads, pastas, and sandwiches. A critique would be that the indie coffee house rock being pumped through the speakers was too loud and made me nervous and want to leave before we even ordered. Not a deal breaker by any means though. Great pizza!!!”

“This is a local go to place with a friend of mine. We like to relax and talk there because it's usually not too busy and we can hear each other. Be prepared to be busier of course on weekends. Usually the food is great, the bread sticks are a favorite of mine. They have more garlic butter than other places. They also come with a marinara dipping sauce.”

“The food is not bad at all. I enjoyed a nice big bowl of the PHO with rib eye & meatballs. The meatballs are not my thing I guess. I was not into them at all. But they did add flavor over all to my bowl. Next time I will just get the rib eye. The egg rolls were as I expected and enjoyed them too. The wait staff was very friendly as well. Also the place was very clean and well maintained.”

“Best kept secret off FM2978. I was quite surprised to walk in to a sports bar on a college football Saturday and I had my choice of places to sit. The place is clean, wings were great, quality TVs everywhere, and good service. Then I found out they had only been open for several months, made a little more sense. “I went in with a "buy 3, get 3 free" from HEB. I picked 3 different kolaches I wanted to try and got a second of each...total 6. These ranged in price from $2 -$3.50. When I got the bill it did not take 1/2 off. I asked about that and the clerk said it takes the lowest 3 off.. It did not say anything on the coupon to that effect so I was upset as she had already run my cc. She said it would take 10 minutes to correct and I could take just a seat. Well, GRRR! I then just asked her to void the sale altogether and return my coupn. After a few minutes the manager asked me to come over to another register. I explained the situation and she said I could have a refund, have it adjusted or better, she said she'd rather me have the kolaches, than not. So she filled my order and offered me some free kolaches of my choice. It seemed more than fair to me so I thanked her and told her we were regulars...but only after she (Connie) filled a box of yummies for me. This is the first and only time I've had a bad experience and was ready to steam up and they totally did the first rate customer service thing to do. I would have to say that they are totally customer centric. Nobody should lose a customer over a $2 (retail) item and if you just talk to them, they will probably make it right and then some.”

They have drink specials. One day is men's day, another ladies , etc. We've been going to El Basques for years. But their special in Rita's only include the house drinks. I can't tolerate so much lime and their specials don't include flavored drinks. I think I bought a sale drink, get up front and it's about $6-7 for the small. We pretty much dropped them for that. If u like a Rita or two with lunch and don't want to take out a loan for your meal, give them a try!”
