“I like Stripes convenience stores very much and I had a particularly good experience with one worker in this store. Franceska was extremely helpful and gracious with me. She had wonderful customer service skills and made my visit memorable. I asked her if she was a manager, because she showed up for customers in a way that I expect managers to do - sometimes more than hourly staff. She told me she is an assistant manager and I got really happy for the Stripes company. They made an excellent choice with her and she will be a terrific manager if they can hold on to her. Managers who have both organizational skill and also such wonderful human skills are very in-demand these days. I think Franceska could probably write her own ticket - go into any area of customer service she wants.”

“Perfect souvenir shop for 4 of us to decide on what to get! The young men and women working in there were very attentive to our questions about their merchandise including the iron on tee options that cover an entire wall! Some items are pricier than others but they have options for any budget in there. Anything from sandals to sea shell jewelry boxes, we had a great time looking at all the choices presented to us. Excellent customer service as well. Will definitely be back and would recommend.”

“Morgan and the instructors are incredible with the children. They practice extraordinary vigilance and each are lifeguard certified. In addition, each instructor receives special training in CPR. I feel very comfortable my youngest son, Shiloh, is very safe. I have watched the classes and the campers receive very good instruction, not only on surfing, but also about the ocean. Plus, they have blast! I will rate this as very highly recommended.”

“Well I have to say it, "The Fat Kid in me was screaming for joy" after I bought a dozen donuts. The bear claw was light and very delicious with the apple cinnamon filing. Made up for having no apple fritters. But the light plain cake donut was suprising. No heavy oil taste to any of the 4 donuts I devoured yesterday. Just light fluffy goodness and the glaze was lightly coated as well. All the more worth the $11 spent because I had the bear claw on the side with the dozen. IF I was blind folded, I would say it was a KRISPY KREME donut and I used to have some from there a few years back when I lived in California. But these are lighter, not heavy at all and I like the lighter glaze coating on these donuts. Fat Kid was crying over the enjoyment of having one yesterday since it had been at least 6 months in not having one. And I knew I had the best weapon if I was ever pulled over by CCPD. Hahaa!! But ut was well worth my purchase and first time buying from the donut Palace, time was around Noon. I would have better luck, if I was there earlier in the morning, some donuts he had sold out of when I arrived. Delicious Goodness!!!”

“DG has been a welcomed addition to NORTH Padre Island. It seems many are reviewing a S. Padre DG. Before opening, the only option was a CVS where everything is priced at least 3x the cost of other CVS stores. This DG is new, clean, well-stocked and convenient. I’ve never seen it messy, never seen long lines and it has a wonderful location with a clean parking lot. For those who live on the island, it has been great.”

I found an FNP (Tracy Culver) that I trust and who expresses legitimate concern for my health . I call it TLC ( Tracy Loving Care). My health concerns are always met with care. I am always treated with respect. If there IS a wait time, it is only because sometimes so many of us that love this place are here getting the medical TLC that keeps us returning. The people who work here are real. They go home just like you. I do not believe any of the "bad" reviews. They obviously did not spend time here.”
