“A friend of mine recommended Black Marlin and it did not disappoint. In fact, it was better than expected after listening to the recommendation. It is not a very big restaurant which I can only assume allows them to provide quality over quantity. And for the prices, you can't beat it. This is the only restaurant I can remember where the food is a few steps above the price they charge. Don't get me wrong, it is still a $25-50 per person dining experience with the ability to go well above that, but they do such a fantastic job to where it makes it completely worth it. I left thinking I robbed the place! If you have younger kids, the Mac'n Cheese is amazing and big enough for two. Just don't try it, you may not give any to them!”

“This was my favorite shop we visited while staying at Padre Island. This is a great shop for someone seeking decor items. My daughter broke an item while in the store and was reassured by the shop owner. Her reaction made my daughter feel so much better. Our girls selected some unique (and affordable) jewelry while I ended up purchasing five wall hangings (one for each member of our family). I love how they look now that we are home.”

“The Relax Inn was an absolute dream! The location is only 2 blocks from the beach and has a fantastic balcony that has the best breeze all day long. This home is beautiful new home, all new appliances, open and updated kitchen, bathrooms are gorgeous with fabulous plush towels! The pool is an excellent bonus and so nice after the beach! This home is perfect for 2 families and about 4-6 children with the bunk room downstairs. I highly recommend this rental!”

“We have been going to Double Barr at least a half dozen times a year for the past 5 years. Patsy and her team are always friendly, accommodating and provide information about what’s happening around the island. We only stay at Double Barr when visiting Port Aransas. The cottages are all a little different from each other and have everything you need for a short or long stay. The cottages are very reasonable in price and provide a little home away from home. You are just a short drive from the beach and have your own quiet space. Kitchen is stocked with dishes and cooking utensils. There a fridge, stove and space to cook. The cottages have window unit a/c and a wall heater for the winter. On season and off, Double Barr is a great time. It’s clean, dog friendly, no shared walls, and parking for 2 on property directly in front of your cottage. Patsy and her team are always around to help if you need anything. 10/10 will stay here again and again.”

“Great atmosphere! We ate appetizers in the bar. Dining room is really nice but we liked the open feel of the bar. Lots of great decor and comfortable seating inside as well as lovely outdoor tables. Had the spinach salad, bacon wrapped tenderloin (risotto was great! Another reviewer said it wasn't...), crab cakes, and key lime parfait for dessert. This was plenty for two. Yes, it's expensive but the overall experience is worth it.”

“An absolute great experience!!! Captain Tim was easy to communicate when setting up the reservation and accommodating for our group. Water and snacks were provided.The whole crew was super friendly and nice. They were having a good time so we were lucky enough to get extra time. They took time to explain sailing, history of the area, point out dolphins and take pictures for our group. Definitely recommend to anyone that wants a relaxing way to enjoy the water.”

“Went one on a Yellow fin tour and it was amazing !!! This wasn’t my first offshore trip but was definitely the best. Regardless of the 65lb yellow fin I caught, the 2 deckhands were amazing !!! They made this trip 6 stars !! They were so down to earth and helpful , you can’t find many people this humble!! The captains were also very nice and helpful. But again the deckhands made this trip so Awesome I can’t wait to book another trip !! Thank you for all of your help !! Highly recommended!!! I made the trip from Houston and will gladly do it again !!!”

“Great location right off the beach. Good sized sites, clean bathhouse and a recreation hall where breakfast is served. Cell service is weak here, not something the RV Park controls. If you intend to ride a golf cart, stay off 361. Drive on the beach until you get north of ave G. The resort wifi is non existent to poor anywhere away from bathhouse and rec hall.”
