“Excellent views and as close to the beach as you can get without a tent. This place is for family vacations. So no worries about drunk college kids screaming profanits around your children. It's generally quiet at night too.”

“BEST PLACE TO STAY IN Port Aransas! The Dunes is located RIGHT ON THE BEACH! Each unit has a wall of windows with an oversized balcony, some with 3 balconies. The views are spectacular with break-taking sunrises and sunsets. It's just like home at the beach. Each unit is tastefully furnished with everything you need. The front desk and staff are friendly and courteous and helpful. You gotta check out "The Dunes" before booking anywhere else on the Island. You will be happy that you did. Look at some pictures taken from our balcony.”

“We had a wonderful time on the sunset cruise!! It was so beautiful and relaxing out on the water. We stopped to see many dolphins swimming all around us. The sunset was gorgeous!! The captain and crew were very nice and informative. We highly recommend!”

“We never knew this place existed! I'm so glad we found it. Did not wait long to be seated and the server was so amazing and attentive. My son even dropped some of his canned soda and the waitress brought him a new one super fast. Everything looked so good we couldn't decide what to get but what we did get was delicious. Everyone was very satisfied with our meals. Definitely recommended if your looking for a seafood/pasta/with a tiny bit of Asian flair.”

“Rented for mothers day weekend. The house was very nice very roomy and comfortable. My only complaint was the golf cart. Wasn't the one pictured and the cart is in need of some serious mechanical and cosmetic repair. Other than that we were very happy with our stay there.”

“There's always that one store you stumble across and think "wow, why didn't I find this sooner." To me this is one of the best places to get souvenirs from in Port Aransas. Not just because of my love of skulls either. They do have a great selection though of ceramic skulls as well as jewelry. From beautiful ceramic pieces to amazing metal wall art, shirts and jewelry, this place has it all. Last but not least the prices are great.”

“We went in on a whim after eating at the Mexican restaurant next door. Sondra was very welcoming and helpful! I bought a pair of Oofos flip-flops, and the price was comparable to online prices. The Dock is a nice store with quality merchandise, not a cheap tourist trap place. It was one of my favorite stops during our week in Port A!”

“A Beautiful Art Gallery and Jewelry store! And omg! The floor!!!”

“Friendly staff and nice rooms. We had difficulty putting the blind down and maintenance came within minutes to fix it. The pool is nice and I like that it stays open a little later than other establishments. We swam on a Sunday and the pool wasn't filtering (it was on Saturday) so there were bugs and debris in it and the jacuzzi couldn't be turned on. There was no one available in the office to turn it on. There were plenty of people swimming that day so it should've been running. Otherwise everything else was fine.”

“There were eight ladies that went down for a long weekend and we had a great time at this home. It was fun riding to shopping, beach and restaurants in the golf cart. The beds and baths are laid out so you can easily share and the kitchen living area was great for fixing meals and watching the Rider Cup. Had some really good sea food and we are all planning on going again. Thanks”

“We have been coming here for family camp every summer for years! It’s hands down the most stress free way to do the beach with kids. They provide everything you need for beach; one wagon per family, set up shade and chairs, plus all the toys, surf boards and boogie boards you need. The food is amazing! There’s nothing better than walking off the beach and having an amazing meal ready for you. They took the best part of a beach vacation; the beach, and eliminated all the worst parts; cooking, waiting at restaurants, hauling all your stuff, etc. The programming in the evenings is fun too. We love to coordinate with friends and go together. Your kids will be talking about their time at family camp all year!”

“I have never had a vet go above and beyond as Dr. David did for our Lady Bird. It was a tough few weeks, but it was eased with her tremendous compassion and tireless efforts to help our sweet Birdie. I cannot say enough about how much I love everyone at Island Animal Clinic. It is a wonderful, caring place. They are like family to me because they embraced Birdie as if she were their own. Thank you for everything.”

“Pretty knowledgeable staff my only gripe with them is the quality of their lumber full of warped and mis- shaped boards. Regardless of specific types like 2x4 plywood posts etc.”

“Everything was awesome. We loved it! The condo was beautiful... There is only one thing wrong. The guest bedroom has a mattress so big that I couldn't get on it. It was actually my son's room. He is 6' 6" tall and he had a hard time getting up on it. It also is so close to the closet that you cannot open the closet. The staff there was very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.”

“The house was incredible, great space. I wish it had direct access to the each, we had to go through the hotel and they weren't happy.”

“This is my second time staying here! What I love about it: location to beach is awesome! Golf carting to shops & restaurants. The privacy & private pool! Large space! Two separate houses which I loved! Cons: as much money we are spending, I wish the housekeeping would pay attention to some of the dirtiness. Overall, GREAT house & can’t wait to go back next year!”

“This my favorite thing I did in Port A! We took the adult only cruise and it was super fun. The pirate staff is very entertaining and have great senses of humor! The drinks were good. It took just under 2 hours, they pass around a clipboard so we could write our song picks, started mock fights with the visitors and just kept all in good spirits. Just so much fun!!! We were lucky and saw many little dolphin groups swimming not too far from the ship. We ate at Fin's next door and the food was amazing! 100% would recommend this to anyone and everyone.”

“Enjoy a beautiful stroll on an amazing path that Overlooks the shipping channel and winds their way through title marshes. Keep your eyes peeled you will see everything from geckos, turtles, migrating Shorebirds, look the rosette spoonbill and of course the dolphin show has the Freighters go by. When we visited there was also a story book Trail that featured the children's book about the Roseate spoonbill. This added an extra layer of fun for the family. Bring plenty of water as the walk get very warm in the summer. There is plenty of parking and a bathroom. They are doing some upgraded Construction and sometimes parking is limited. There is several Pavilions for shade along the way and one large Pavilion that overlooks a lake. This would be a good spot for a picnic. Also if you remember you will get a better look at all the wildlife if you bring binoculars. Do you have your wits about you as our walk was early in the morning and we did cross paths with a couple who was not there to view the wildlife.”
