I was very pleased with my phone call with Mr. Baker. He was professional, responsive, and took his time answering all my questions. We discussed our comps and theirs, he explained how the land value was calculated and how our pool value was determined. The RCAD staff are courteous and friendly. A positive experience and outcome!

I was expecting our experience with the CAD to be difficult but they did two things very quickly for us this year...

1) they quickly accepted our retroactive homestead filing even though it was an oversight on my part. It was applied almost immediately AND I got a refund within 2 weeks.
2) I protested our home value with a current appraisal and again, within 2 weeks, we had a great settlement offer that was extremely close to our appraisal value.

The staff I spoke with were helpful, friendly and expeditious.

I had a fair hearing. I felt the panel listened. The receptionist was courteous. I am satisfied with results.
