Dr. Vikas Aurora is very detail oriented. He answers all the questions and concerns. He takes time and doesn't rush the appointment. He is one of the best doctors and I am very happy with treatment he gave me. I would strongly recommend him.
Dr. Aurora is a wonderful doctor. He always spends a lot of time going over test results and answering every question I have.
Doctor Aurora is the best doctor I have ever had .He is so patient ,loving and kind .Hes very compassionate about what he does. I just think the world of him and I'm so grateful God-blessed me with this wonderful doctor.
Dr. Aurora is unquestionably a brilliant, caring, and fabulous oncologist and hematologist!
In 2009, a mass was found to be occupying much of my wife's liver. It was diagnosed as intrahepatic cholangiocarcinona, an almost always fatal cancer for which medical literature then reported there existed no known effective chemotherapy, that it almost always came back even after surgical removal of the original tumor, and predicted death within 15 months following original diagnosis.
.
Dr. Aurora immediately referred us to an incredibly talented oncological surgeon, Dr. Rohan Jeyarajah, who agreed to attempt the risky surgery. After Dr. J successfully removed almost 70% of her liver, she returned to Dr. Aurora for follow-up.
Thanks to Dr. Aurora's diligence, advice, recommendations, & additional referrals for a variety of novel therapies, my wife blazed past those 15 months and instead continued to live and enjoy life with her family for more than 11 YEARS after her original diagnosis (until she passed in December 2020).
Although she bravely took on many new and experimental therapies to do it, my wife surely would not have lived nearly so long without Dr. Aurora's leadership, guidance, and care!
Additionally, during most of that time Dr. Aurora was my wife's oncologist (and continuing through today), I have also been Dr. Aurora's patient in his other expert field of hematology. I personally confirm that Dr Aurora is an extremely knowledgeable, very diligent, extremely patient, and thorough physician. Highly Recommended!
