No one wants to have surgery, but if you do, this is the best place to be. Thanksgiving check in went smoothly and one I was in pre-op I was well taken care of. They answered all my questions and told me what what’s happening at each step. I don’t remember the recovery nurse’s name, but she was great. She kept communicating with me to manage my pain. Once I was admitted i colony have asked for a nicer or more caring nurse. Nurse Shelby went above and beyond to help me be comfortable. Jimmie , the physical therapist took his time with me and let me move at a pace I was comfortable with. Nurse Rita who was my nurse Over night was so caring, even just staying and talking to me so I wouldn’t feel alone. Anything I needed was provided and when I had a problem with my brace causing pain, they came up with a solution. Jonathan was my last nurse and once again I wasn’t disappointed. He had the unenviable task of removing a drain from my incision, which I was extremely nervous about. He helped me stay calm and did it gently helping to keep my anxiety way down. The floor Director, Kory, Checked on me more than once and was genuinely interested in my comfort. Not once during my entire stay was I made to feel that I was a burden or that my questions and concerns weren’t valid. I was attended to often and sometimes it was just to talk and get to to know me. I was never just a number. No one wants to have surgery or be in the hospital, but if you must, this is the absolute best place to be. I didn’t mention it before, but the facility is top notch, and even the food was good.
Went in for arthroscopic knee surgery and couldn't have asked for a better experience. The nurses and staff were incredibly helpful, kind and professional. Check-in and intake was fast and efficient both for the pre-op appt as well as the surgery itself. My wife was well taken care of waiting for me with regular updates a comfortable waiting room with plenty of snacks, drinks and a cafeteria. The patient advocate checked in with her regularly and kept her up to date.
This was my first surgical experience but not the first time at a hospital and I can honestly say, I don't know what more I could have asked for. Thank you for the wonderful care.
From the moment I entered the hospital until I was discharged the next day, I did not have one bad experience. Everyone was genuinely kind and helpful, treating me like an individual, not just another patient. Thank you BS&W Trophy Club for the care you gave, I won't forget you.
Had my outpatient surgery here. From registration to the excellent nurses, I highly recommend this hospital! All the staff were very caring and highly trained. I felt very comfortable. If I ever have surgery again, I'll do it at thus hospital
