My 8 year old son really enjoys his private piano lesson with Ms.Yunxiang! He had expressed interest in the piano and it's a great emotional outlet for him.
YunXiang is an amazing teacher! She worked so well with my 7 year old. She also let me know to make sure my piano was tuned before letting her play, otherwise it could make her go tone def. This was such great advice and I made sure not to let her play until it was tuned. I would recommend her to anyone!
Ms. Yunxiang is a really nice teacher and person. She is not only a piano teacher, but she also was a lecturer and UC Santa Cruz, a member a youth group that traveled around the world when she was younger, and a great Pipa player. She is very inspiring!
I would certainly recommend Ms.Yunxiang to my friends (and have). Very good place to take kids for music lessons — group lessons, private lessons, and even for the really little kids. My wife wants to take some piano lessons there too, but hasn’t had time yet. Ms.Yunxiang is outstanding, and works amazingly well with children. Your kids will come out loving music and playing well. Enjoy!
My daughters love Ms.Yunxiang. I was very pleased how well my girls played after their first year study with Ms.Yunxiang. Her classes allow parent participation which is very helpful for parents who have no or limited musical training, so I was able to help them with practice when my husband was busy.
