I brought an old evinrude motor to Mike and he was able to get it running in 2 weeks, Noone else in town would even take a look at it. After that I was having some trouble with the impeller and Mike helped me replace it at no charge. A solid mechanism upfront about what is possible for repairs

Mike is very knowledgeable and trustworthy. He has helped me on multiple occasions with a variety of motor sizes. He has even helped me via phone to fix a problem at the lake. Great guy and even better mechanic.

Mike is a great boat mechanic, knowledgable, capable, very reasonably priced, and quick! I could not be happier and will continue to have him work on my boats for as long as his shop stays open.

I'm on my 5th boat in the last 20 years, so I've met a lot of boat mechanics. They are all over the map in terms of quality and value. Mike is the best I have found in all categories. I even called him with a question while I was out on the water. After that phone call, he even called me back a couple of times with additional info he had researched. Thats going the extra mile!

All of the local central Texas fishing guides bring their boats here -- in other words, people whose livelihoods depend on their boats working. Thats the best recommendation there is.

I used Mike after hitting a rock and breaking the skeg on my bass boat. After taking lower unit off and sending it out to be repaired I needed to enter a tournament. He helped me by putting the lower unit off his personal boat onto mine. I brought it back and he switched them after mine was returned and it works great. No one else would have done that and it says a lot about the character of him. Thx Mike for what you did and I will be bringing it back to you if I screw up anything else.

Mike has been working on boats his entire life and has a lot of knowledge, especially when it comes to older boats. He got my 1980’s bass boat up and running in no time!!! Great service!!
