“We were heading home to San Antonio at 9:22, and were going to stop at Whataburger but we decided on this place instead. It was definitely a good decision! The staff were friendly and the food was fresh and good, even 30 minutes from closing time. Fresh, fast, unique, and open until 10pm!”

“Working with Rachel Brunson of Rainbow Play systems on 620 was such a pleasure and an easy process. She was super professional , came out to the site and measured precisely for the right play system. She used her knowledge to recommend exactly what we needed for our son within his age range and for the amount of space we had to work with. Eight weeks later ( yes, they are booked up and in demand) we had a professionally installed rainbow play system and it’s absolutely wonderful. Everything from the ordering to the install process was perfect! I cannot speak highly enough of the quality of the system. Thank you so much to Rachel, the installers and Rainbow Play Systems for everlasting memories. My son is absolutely over the moon with his new Rainbow 🌈 play system.”

“Kyle Bunting is the King of Hides! All of his rugs are vibrant and incredibly dynamic, and make a beautiful statement in my interior spaces. I love working with Kyle’s team as they always have the best color samples on hand, and once given a design direction they can create unique rug pattern options in infinite color combinations. Often showing three to four different color combinations for just one space. This really makes you as an interior designer stand out, and helps communicate clearly special and exciting ideas for clients to see! The team at Kyle Bunting offer impeccable service, and truly care about ensuring that your desires are realized.”

“I highly recommend Austin Artistic Dental and Dr. Hulse. Dr. Hulse is clearly as expert in his field and does better work than any dentist I’ve visited in the past. He’s been a pleasure to work with. Each time I visit, I know that I am going to walk out the door with the best possible results. In my opinion, culture and kindness are equally as important as expertise. The staff at Austin Artistic Dental are professional, but personable. They treat their patients with respect, understanding, and caring. In short, I encourage anyone looking for a dentist in the Austin area to consider Austin Artistic Dental.”

“Loved living here! I wish I was still living here but, due to unforeseen circumstances, I had to sublease to another tenant after only about 8 months. They did make that process extremely easy and quick. When we first moved in, they gave us a welcome basket with everything you need on the first day: hand soap, paper towels, TP and even small toys for our cats! The managers are so sweet and they really care about all their tenants. The property backs up to a nature reserve so anyone who likes to hike, bike or otherwise join with nature can do that in their backyard! We always had tons of birds to watch and listen to in the mornings. They also recycle, so it’s great for those who are environmentally conscious. Overall a wonderful place to live with wonderful people!”

“If this veteran had not had chief Danny and SGT Tee and K the clerk to sound off to about past treatment by Sunset Valley for BS? I would have been one in 22 a day. They know what that means. Salutes all the deputies that work there and the clerks. They retaught me honesty, excellence, and values and truth.”

“Dr. Aboumatar is a kind, caring, and compassionate doctor. He truly listens to his patients' concerns and is able to explain his findings and treatment plan in a manner that is comprehensible and also reassuring. Although I'm certain he is extremely busy, he never seems rushed, whether he is making rounds in the hospital or seeing someone in his office. His staff are courteous, helpful, and efficient in their respective roles and I am always treated with respect both on the phone and in person.”

“@Mary Jane - It breaks my heart to read your post. I'm from the class of 2000 - the 1st class to go all the way through Connally from grade 9 to grade 12. So...my first day at Connally was EVERYONE'S first day at Connally because we were its first students...ever! :-) Actually, all 4 years that I attended CHS they were still building onto it. The staff, administration, teachers AND students all loved our new school (it was SO shiny and new)! We all took pride in it and babies it because we were all about "setting traditions." That is what we all tried to do...together! We knew that we were making decisions for generations to come so we thought really hard about them and took great pride in that. My years as a student at CHS were amazing...the best four years of my life! The teachers were awesome! Each grade level had its own principle and we all loved ours!!!! -Mr. Littlefield. During Saturday detentions he had the student out cleaning up campus. I just look back and wonder if there is anything we could have done different to better pass the torch. Is there some way we could have shown the incoming class what an awesome gift we were giving them...one the would have loved, been proud to be a part of and babied like we did. Of course there will always be students who don't share the enthusiasm and maybe even do things to sabotage the hard work of others. But they are a select few who are greatly outnumbered. I just know that feeling when that new car smell is gone and I hate that that is what our beautiful Connally High School smells like now. Such a shame that the leaders we had while I was there were not able to stay longer to rally you all like they did us. I understand, especially now that I'm an adult, that there are a lot more pressing matters in a teenagers life than a little graffiti here or there, or that they have better things...more fun things to do than try and make something that's seems so far gone like the school better and great again...especially when you all didn't get to see CHS in her glory days. Just know that a little elbow grease, some school spirit and a nice dose of Big Ol' Texas pride can make what is old new again. The luster, the color being a little brighter, the sense of unity that can become real between two separate groups when working towards the same goal, even the warm tinglies in your gut when you're when you start to make real progress...those things will come on their own. But only you...1 single human being can start a movement. So I hope you can believe that what seems impossible can easily be achieved...if you take a stand. Every movement begins with one person making the decision to act choosing to just talk. Will that person be you? I'll tell you what I know is absolutely certain no matter what: after this is real life...and it's NOTHING like what you see on TV. Making your mark among your peers, your community, your nation, your world...that all starts now...right where you are. So I say, why not set yourself apart now. Why not use the stars that twinkle in your young innocent eyes, your unjaded perseverance and hormone fueled confidence to do something great. Something for yourself, for your fellow student, for your baby brother when he gets there, for generations to come after you...maybe even a little for me ;-) You are about to venture out into unknown territory unsupervised and completely responsible for yourself and what you become. Set the tone. Set yourself up for success in life and maybe even surprise yourself a little when you see what your actually capable of...greatness. God bless and best wishes to you. I only want what was amazing to me to be amazing for you. Oh and BTW...your Mom IS right ;) Shannon M. Gunckel CHS Class of 2000 GO COUGARS!!!”

“Sammy, the owner (Master Electrician) of Core Electrical is to be commended for being highly astute and highly qualified in the electrical trade. Sammy showed up as scheduled along with apprentice Chris. Both had mask and protective shoe coverings and were ready to work the minute they showed up. I was paying by the hour, but these two hustled non stop the entire appointment. We needed a few small electrical items which were on their truck and they were provided at their cost without crazy mark ups. They left the job site clean and neat. I recommend Core Electric to anyone that that want the best there is to offer at a competitive price.. As i was getting to know these two, Sammy mentioned that he was born and raised in Austin ++++. Although Chris hails from Canada, he's a great guy too, very sharp and a college grad that aspires to be a Master E soon.”
