“Nice city park in Esat Austin. I wish the visitors were more careful and dispose their garbage in the proper places. If you don't take care of our parks don't complaint about it.”

“I brought my hiking group here last week and they absolutely loved it. The creek runs along the trail so you can enjoy the babbling brooks and jump in if you get hot! The historic house from the 1800s is super cool. Def worth checking out if you can find it..I love finding hidden gems like these in North Austin!”

“Nice little getaway for you and your furry friend. Trailhead parking and facilities are good. Hang out in the off leash open area or hit the trail. You can hike to the end of the trail to get to the water or take the shorter route half way there. Crossing the water takes your further into the trail. Water is clean enough for dogs but haven't seen anyone swimming.”

“To pedal and walk is a beautiful thing”
Address: 1600 City Park Rd, Austin, TX 78730, USA
“This place was great! Plenty of shade and picnic tables. The water was nice and shallow out to the buoy lines, perfect for small kids. Bathrooms were conveniently close to the beach area and we're clean. Online reservation system was easy to use; I am glad I knew about them in advance. Would be nice to have better signs indicating how to get to the water from the main road. Also, beware there are lots of burrs in the grass; wear water shoes or sandals. Overall still awesome though; we will definitely be back”

“A wonderful and beautiful family park within walking distance from a couple subdivisions and bicycle distance from more than a few subdivisions in South Austin. Some parks around Austin are very congested and crowded but S.N.P. for the most part is never that way. Countless spots for beautiful photo opportunities along with plenty of spots to sit with a date, play with the kids, or just a walk of the dog- or cat- or heck potbelly pig if you have one!”
Address: 4511 TX-71, Del Valle, TX 78617, USA
“Plenty of space for walking/running on paved or natural trails. Long or short non-paved trails that are decently maintained (cleared of brush). Nice scenic overlooks. Good spots for catch and release fishing. Spacious sports fields for practice or games. Plenty of parking available. Pretty flora and fauna too.”
Address: 614 N Commons Ford Rd, Austin, TX 78733, USA
“Of all the city of Austin reservations, this place seems to be the least crowded. There's a small trail if you want to go for a walk but it's not a large enough to make a whole trip out there for that. The water is brisk and easy to get into. Plenty of trees for shade. Dog friendly!”

“Pros: peaceful, lots of deer, birds and even an armadillo, easy to get to. Cons: occasional jet noise and if the wind is blowing east you get a not so nice fragrance from the wastewater plant. Overall a great place to hike! My wife and I only saw 1 other person on Thanksgiving morning.”
Address: 515 City Park Rd, Pflugerville, TX 78660, USA
“Great paved trail. Dodging pedestrians was a wee bit tricky due to some blind curves. Had to watch my speed-ha!ha! I have a 3-speed cruiser!”
