Nena’s Cazuelas

It was a busy day, I really wanted Mexican for dinner, we were headed to Round Rock, and Nena’s came up on my wife’s search. There was no wait for seating, it was quiet, it was cozy, the atmosphere was just what I was looking for. Service was prompt, efficient, and friendly. Portions we’re just right, almost like a tip to the Three Bears House, without having to try the first two bowls of porridge. We got a small bowl of cheese for the chips, and I had a Chimichanga, the cheese sauce on the Chimichanga was wonderful. Thank you for a delightful dinner. We will be back.

The owner and his wife are good people and hard workers! He was very accommodating. The margaritas are excellent and the food is authentic and delicious! We esp like the salsa, guac and rice. We got the fajitas which were great. Atmosphere is warm and inviting like you’re family, we will def be back!

If you're all about perfectly sauteed onions and a substantial amount of meat on your tacos, this is your place! The Gringas with pastor meat is delicious. The staff here are excellent and attentive. There's lots of room for big parties.

Food was good. Refried beans were on the running side.
Salsa was hot but no very flavorful.

Very kind staff. I have ate here a couple times and the food has always been great. Menudo is served on the weekend and has a fresh flavor. Above all things I LOVE the Mexican Martini. It's one of the best I've tasted in this area. They also offer a good margarita and can provide curbside if needed. Very family friendly and great dining experience
