“The restaurant is a historic bar across from the Wilson County Courthouse in Floresville. If you want a low key spot to chat with your company keep to the front. If you want to enjoy the food and a little music sit to the back. The staff is friendly. The specials are inexpensive. The food is Southern success. I chose the chicken fried chicken chef's special and my companion had the chicken fried steak off the menu. Each item was perfection. No greasy overly breaded items. The side salads, a little small, until you realize a large salad would have prevented you from enjoying the star of the meal - the entree. The sweet potato fries were the best I have ever had. Thursdays have a ladies special. Fridays have live music. You may wonder how a place like this stays open when it is off the beaten path, but it's obvious the locals love this gem. You should stop in and let Fluff's Whitehouse soothe your soul with it's Southern comfort food. It's well worth the drive from San Antonio to just stop in and enjoy what makes America great. “So to let everyone know that if you have any issues with a gas or Diesel engine, then definitely take it to Christopher at 181 Auto. The experience was definitely the best of any auto mechanic shop anywhere, hands down!! I had a problem with my #7 cylinder not working. I had it diagnosed at 2 reputable places and both told me that I had to either have a head rebuilt or engine replaced (both costs $5-8k)After talking to Chris on the phone he knew exactly what the problem was. I took it in and he told me what needed to be done and not only did he do the repairs he kept in touch throughout the whole process as well as let me know if anything else needed to be done and asked before he did it. He is very meticulous and knowledgeable and very very HONEST! I will not ever use anyone else and the cost was not near what a new engine that these other lazy companies where trying to sell me just because they did not want to do the "dirty work". I highly recommend to anyone here to use him. Plus he is our neighbor and a disabled veteran as am I and just wants to do honest hard work. My truck runs better than it did when I bought it.
