“Everything was awesome. We loved it! The condo was beautiful... There is only one thing wrong. The guest bedroom has a mattress so big that I couldn't get on it. It was actually my son's room. He is 6' 6" tall and he had a hard time getting up on it. It also is so close to the closet that you cannot open the closet. The staff there was very pleasant. We would definitely stay there again.”

Did a lot of fishing and enjoyed this quiet ,peaceful place,we live in Galveston,which is beautiful,but it’s a tourist attraction,so not so peaceful in the summertime.. “We found Gruene Estate when looking for an outdoor venue near where I grew up, and after watching the video and looking through all of the pictures, we kept talking about it. We finally decided to take a trip to look at the venue in person and fell in love. The property is spacious but felt intimate for our 60 person wedding. The staff is professional and incredibly helpful and communicative. We loved the coordinators they connected us with and felt like our wedding was pretty perfect here. Melinde helped connect us with local vendors and she even helped us design our reception layout and helped with set up. We loved having our special day at such a special location!”

“We stayed in the sunflower ridge cabin in San Marcos. The views are amazing and it’s very quiet and peaceful out there. The hot tub is why we chose this cabin, we did have issues with it turning off every 5 minutes but outside of that we really enjoyed it. I will warn you the bedroom is loft style with a low ceiling so if you are tall this might not be the cabin for you. Overall loved the experience I would absolutely go back.”

“This my favorite thing I did in Port A! We took the adult only cruise and it was super fun. The pirate staff is very entertaining and have great senses of humor! The drinks were good. It took just under 2 hours, they pass around a clipboard so we could write our song picks, started mock fights with the visitors and just kept all in good spirits. Just so much fun!!! We were lucky and saw many little dolphin groups swimming not too far from the ship. We ate at Fin's next door and the food was amazing! 100% would recommend this to anyone and everyone.”
