“This is an amazing place to bring kids. They have a large variety of local animals on display to include an owl. There is a lot of educational information about the local environment and some of the regional history. There are also a few trails that are open from dawn to dusk. The trails are used a lot by locals for walks to include taking dogs for walks. There is also a historical blacksmith shop that is still in active use. See the blacksmith guild of the Potomac for more info.”

“This is a great dog park and the dogs and their owners are a lot of fun. Google asked about whether the park is handicapped accessible...it is if you park on the cul de sac and walk to the gate on the back side or drive to that gate. The park does not have lighting for use at night and the stated hours are with closing 30 minutes after dusk. This dog park and others like it are not necessarily kid friendly for kids under age 6 because it IS a park for DOGS and they run and play as pack animals; adults have been injured when knocked down by a running dog. It is not a place for little kids unless they are being held by their parent.”
