Da Firma Training Center is the most welcoming gym I've ever trained at. The instructors really care about students' progression and we get opportunities to learn the fundamentals of bjj and fancier techniques in between. The Saturday women's classes educate me on dangers more specific to females and how to counter them! The overall atmosphere is a great place to kick back and spar with my Dad.

I started about 3 months ago after watching my son train here for about a year and a half. Still at the bottom of the ladder and that’s okay.

You will not find a more down to earth, friendly, and positive training center. There are no ego’s here and it is perfect for the family.

My wife takes the women’s only self defense class which is amazing (and sometimes scary when she tries to practice on me at home). We take the family self defense class together and I also train as often as I can with the adult class.

Unlike some other martial arts that I have encountered, every step of the way is earned at the academy. During grappling I constantly find myself on the bottom, underneath someone more skilled....and that’s okay because I have learned to breathe, be calm, and find a way (sometimes)out of this physical chess puzzle. When I say I am proud of my white belt.... I am. Professor says it’s the most important belt and he is right.

I cannot recommend this place enough. All the Professors are great and it is a privilege to train with the other students.
