(October 17, 2020, 10:21 pm)We were fortunate to have a guided tour by two experts from the James River Association. We got to hike around the woodland and canoe for 90+ minutes in the wetlands and the marsh.

(June 28, 2017, 8:47 pm)If you are a lover of all things nature and science then I highly suggest making the trip to visit this beautiful island. I went as part of a group on a science exploration and the experience I had was amazing. We tested the water quality, netted fish to identify species, and paddled out on canoes. I intend to plan a trip for my students next year, so I hope they too will find it a rewarding experience.
