Great place to get my handicap van serviced.
Excellent service
This past Monday my father (who is wheelchair bound) and I took my mother to the hospital for her hip replacement surgery that she had been putting off for years. So you can imagine the worry and stress that ensued when I realized that the ramp to our wheelchair accessible van would not go back in after I let my mom and dad out of the van that morning at the hospital. I fiddled with almost every button in the vehicle but to no avail! Finally, I "strong-armed" the ramp back in and was able to close the door, because I did not want to miss sending off my mom for her surgery.
Long story short, I finally got on the phone with Ro from MobilityWorks Customer Service and she worked super hard to fit me into an appointment for the next day. Once I brought it in the service team fixed it in 10 minutes!! The people here are super kind and very genuine. When you run into issues with a handicap accessible vehicle for a parent, trust me, you need everything to work the right way every time. These people are great here and deserve all 5 stars!
Many many many thanks!
Our accessible Dodge Caravan broke down on our way back to Arlington. We were travelling home from Norfolk with our 23 year old daughter with SMA. Having exhausted all other possibilities, I called the emergency number for Mobility Works for suggestions. We were 12 miles from the Richmond office where the manager came from home to help. We left the van there and rented an accessible van to drive home! Our van was ready the in 2 days! Mobility Works should have been our first call!!
