As someone that is highly invested and emotional attached to my babies I personally like a veterinarian that gives it to me straight while giving me a minute to collect myself if my doggos do have something wrong with them. (Literally an ear infection can send me into tears 😂😭) They have always explained all options that I have and what benefits each one has. The tech/front end person that I have dealt with is very knowledgeable, helpful and nice. A few days ago, I came in highly anxious with my new sick pup. She put me at ease just by answering all my nervous questions. I recommend this office.”

“I can’t begin to describe how top notch this place is. They seem to really care about the animals more than the money which is something I have not experienced at any other vet. Dr bill has been quite amazing. He is so kind. My dog got fixed and had an infection after and they were so helpful and didn’t immediately tell us to come in and spend money. My previous vet would always pressure me into spending a lot and make me feel bad for not being able to afford every possible treatment. This place is special!!”

“The folks at Deer Run have done right by my pets when an unexpected, after hours medical situation has occurred. Of course they prioritize patients based on condition, so you might have to wait, but what's that compared to a pet feeling better. They were swamped with patients Memorial Day weekend but they remained helpful, friendly and efficient. Yes, it costs to walk in the door, but if your pet is ill, your choices are limited. You want them feeling better ASAP.”

“My overall experience with Charter has been a great one. The environment is friendly and helpful. The instructors are AWESOME, even then that is an understatement and I honestly can't explain it to you. It's something you should experience yourself. We have a lot of fun in the class and labs. You definitely learn a lot and some things are hard and are very challenging but they do not see mistakes as failure only as learning opportunities to help you grow better in your field of study. They challenge you to thrive and not give up. I really love Charter and the people at this Wasilla facility.”

“We had to put our sweet girl Danica down after she lost her battle to liver cancer. I know the LVT and other support staff thought that they were doing what was right by immediately injecting Danica with meds to make her comfortable, however, that is my choice to make. Our sweet girl was taken outta my wife's arms, taken behind doors where we couldn't go and then we had to wait about 20mins later to see her. We would have preferred to have been with our girl the whole entire time in her last moments. It was a heartbreaking experience for us, but all of the staff did everything they could to make sure it didn't get any worse and we appreciate that.”

The only reason I can't bring myself to give them a five is for charging "extra" to bring your pooch in on a weekend - unless that policy has changed? That was a normal-biz day for my old vet. But I stay there because they are nice, reliable, professional and good with the pups.”
