“This was my first time doing business with James River. I was having my JD E160 mower serviced with their $189 special that was mailed to me, see attached picture. It was odd they couldn't book my appointment on my initial call and was told I would be called back to book the appointment the call came about a week later. Not that big of a deal since it's winter but odd it would take so long. The gentleman who came to do the service was professional and answered my questions. What really got me though is when I called to pay my bill they tried to charge me $230. I had no bill so I asked for a break down of the bill and questioned the charges. He became flustered and couldn't really explain it and tried to say well it was because they drove to my home to do the service. I reminded him that the deal included free pickup and delivery and that they insisted on coming to my home to do the service. Finally he reworked the bill and says $202. I paid it to be done with the call but still feel I was over charged. If I ever do business with them again I will have a total price at the time of booking and I will see an invoice before payment. Updated 2021 I decided to give them another shot this year. I would rather the JD pros work on my mower than just anyone. This time things went as they should. Service done, billing accurate, easy experience. I believe in honest reviews and adjusted this from my initial 2 star rating to 4.”

“Love this place. Used to go a lot when I lived here. It is spacious, 2 ranges one for pistols and one for rifles. Plenty of room for multiple people to have fun and still be at a safe distance. The people who run/own this range are very friendly, and helpful. When I was done shooting, I would pack up and talk to them for a bit before I left. Beautiful property. One of the more comfortable places to relax and enjoy some much needed therapy.”
