The museum exhibits were informative and well arranged. The park also encompasses a plantation and battlefields. Amanda is an excellent tour guide. All in all, a enjoyable day.
This is such a great place and a very historic location. Very important piece of history!
A gem. Amazing, interactive exhibits. Knowledgeable staff and entertaining tour guides.
Update 6/28/2022: Had to kill some time with my four year old grandson, so I brought him here. He had a good time, rushing through most things. The "Trial by Fire' exhibit (think that's what it was called) was a bit too intense for him.
Bottom-line--not an ideal place for younger children unless you spend most of your time outdoors. The staff was very patient and helpful. The gift shop was grandson's favorite place. He took a long time to choose a wooden cannon souvenir.
Amazing site. It’s is a great history of the battle and the museums are great love the walk through a soldiers experience. The earthworks are a great walk and the recreated trenches are awesome for realization of the battle. It is a must stop for history people and non history people. The plantation and houses show the civilian life as well. And are just as important.
