“My mom recently passed away and she had everything taken care of in advance. David one of the managers at Mt. Comfort handled things professionally and took care of everything without hassle. He also provided us a day and time that was perfect for my moms burial. Everything went smooth.”

“Great little league park. Located next to Accotink creek, and the 45 mile long Cross County Trail. Parking is very limited. Stop in as you are passing by, grab a $2 hot dog from the snack bar, and watch an inning or two of baseball for free! Who needs the crowds at Nats Park, amiright?”

“Just your local tot lot. But on a foggy morning there will be a good view of the most enclosed meadow to the south with one lonely oak trying to make itself seen.”

“This is my favorite go to place. Good for relaxing, walking, and photography with its mixed terrain mostly trees and marsh. You can observe some wild animals if you are lucky mainly birds and turtles. For Fall colors come late October, early November. If you are visiting in summer spray yourself with mosquito repellent. Never too crowded.”

“It was everything I had hoped for, this water spray park should be a must see for parents. Between here and the surrounding Lee District Park had more playgrounds than I could count. “The pond and flora are very pretty. But because the trail around the pond is only a half mile, you have to walk around it several times to get any kind of a workout. The view from the dam is best. Half of the trail is paved and the other half is a natural surface. The side trail that connects to the Cross County Trail is unmarked and very rugged. It's a 10 minute walk from Brookfield Pond to the portion of the Cross County trail north of the Bryon Avenue park, but be advised that the terrain is difficult to navigate and likely to be muddy.”
