“Really great place for the kids. Can get crowded so we try to arrive a few minutes before they open. Lots of fun water toys for the kids and gets them used to being around and playing with water.”

Dentist Health Campground Amusement park Park Lodging

“Great family experience!! We checked into a cabin on Friday @ 4PM and left the following Monday around 1030AM and all around everyone with us had the best time. My husband, myself, our 3 year old, 17 year old, and my parents all came for the trip and did not leave disappointed. The cabin slept 8 and was very comfortable. The only suggestion with the cabin is more trash bags and a broom. We did a guided tour during a Hiking/crafting activity scheduled and really enjoyed the knowledge Denise had. The pool was great with the basketball hoops and swim up bar. You couldnt keep us off the adult water slides and the kiddie pool was perfect for our 3 year old. Shopped way to much at the general store but it was super convenient. Did not eat at the restaurant on property. Grilled at our cabin or went to local restaurants. Being able to rent a golf cart for a great price was also a great feature. We understand that the campgrounds are still under construction and look forward to visiting next year. I do wish there was a gym. I am an avid runner so I enjoyed early mornings around the site, the weather was perfect for it.”

“Went on a weekday so it was not crowded. Fun place for kids, lots of slides. Plenty of life guards on duty, even for a weekday, so that was nice. Bathrooms are somewhat small and the cleanliness is as expected for a very used public facility. Seating all around - chairs & lounges. There are a couple of those giant umbrellas to sit under, but those go quick. It looked like they have a section to a shaded grassy area but it was not open at the time. They have a big sand box for small kids to play in but you can see a lot of sand carried over into the pool near it. No outside food or drinks allowed except for water and the small Nathan's cafe on site was just ok. Not super pricey, but not cheap. $1.50 for a juice pouch - ouch. They ran out of the refillable souvenir cups. I would definitely go again, but not sure I would attempt a hot weekend when it could be crowded.”

Launch Trampoline Park

Address: 13348 Franklin Farm Rd, Herndon, VA 20171, USA

“Wonderful, true 5-star experience! Clean (and I’m picky with cleanliness and honestly was amazed at how clean the facility as a whole was), well laid out (especially while attempting to keep tabs on a bunch of little kids), organized, and SO friendly! The birthday party experience was also top-notch. They party “planner” given with the party package makes the party flow seemlessly with little to no stress on the parents. I honestly couldn’t of asked for a better experience.”

Splash Pad

Address: 12023 Town Square St, Reston, VA 20190, USA

Amusement park

“Great splash pad for kids! It felt much safer than most of the splash pads we go to, but there was still one section of road that was a little too accessible for my liking. I don't understand why VA doesn't gate in their splash pads like other States do.”

Water Mine Family Swimmin' Hole

Address: 1400 Lake Fairfax Dr, Reston, VA 20190, USA

Amusement park

“My daughter LOVES this water park! She always chooses to have her birthday party here! I love how it’s always clean, there’s plenty of room for a lot of people. The food they offer there is yummy too! This place is popular... in the mornings there are super lines you have to wait at but what do you expect when going to such an awesome, fair priced water park? You definitely will see me coming back every summer!”

Pirate's Cove Waterpark

Address: 6501 Pohick Bay Dr, Lorton, VA 22079, USA

Amusement park

“It was crazy, kids every where, parents every where. My 2 year old got in for free and had a blast. If you have a small child I would say it is a must to have your own life vest. But had fun, concessions stand always had a line. I would say from 0- 5 years would really have fun in this water park. You pay $8 to get in the park after 4 pm you pay $5.25 to get in the water park.”
