“I was able to wash a king and queen comforter together in the mega load washer for eight dollars. They have 3 mega dryers and a quarter buys 4 min however an additional quarter buys 3 more minutes of drying time. Machines take quarterse and there are 2 change machines. The day I went there were 4 dryers Out of Order, of 24 and 2 washing machines out of order, including 1 mega washer. Ceiling fans were a generous touch for circulating air. I will return to wash comforters. The staff at the location in Yorktown told me about this place in case I wanted to wash both comforters in one load. The parking lot/location didn't feel that safe, take a friend along”

“I like this place, however, bathroom isn't available, so don't drink too much water if you have to spend much time to wash & dry your clothes. The Big washers for blankets are $5.75 & the small washers are $2.50. Using plenty of quarters are not bad at all & drying your clothes are fantastic! It's feasible until you buy your own..or until you move..”

“I had my wedding dress tailored here and had a great experience. The dress had a very long train and was therefore quite large, but the employees here handled it with no problem. I had two tailoring appointments and then I picked my dress up on the third appointment after it was sent out for steam pressing. My gown was tailored very well and had virtually no wrinkles after the steam pressing. Thank you for tailoring my dress so well - it was comfortable and made me feel beautiful on my big day. I will return with any other tailoring needs I have in the future!”

“I went in here today to do a small load of laundry and there was a younger gentleman inside cleaning and getting the change machine unstuck. He saw that I was waiting on him to finish and asked me how much change I needed. Told him the amount and he proceeded to just give me what was already in the change machine, I didn’t count it but it had to be well over $6 or more. He informed me his name was Mathew and the place was under new ownership.. Glad to see a business owner actually interacting with his customers and not just sitting behind a desk watching the money roll in. I’ll definitely be returning, I feel welcomed. He came in on time and was super courteous and friendly, once he was done he told me to check out the carpet and I was very impressed. We had a German Shepard golden retriever in the apartment for about a year and they shed like crazy! “Dora consistently surpasses expectations. She does the jobs perfectly, and nearly always and less time than predicted. Her prices are comparable to others I've used in the area, but in addition to tailoring altering and dry cleaning, she almost always has something else worth looking at. Today I acquired two New Orleans saints face masks. She had all teams most college teams and many beautiful designs. She makes these herself, and if there is a design you want just bring her the fabric or show her a picture and she will make the mask. There may be people as good as Dora, but I haven't found anyone better.”
