“This is not the fault of the Hampton PD but today’s backup (13 Jun 2022) through the entire downtown of Hampton due to an afternoon crash in the tunnel (and follow on crash in Norfolk) was the worst I have ever seen. The police could help by strict enforcement of not blocking intersections, not running red lights, and not cutting around the barrier in which people who follow the law line up to enter I-64 East. There are several places people jump the line for I-64 and, at this point, about 25% of the people entering 64 jump the line. The most obvious place is cutting across to the on ramp from the left lane on Settler’s Landing Road (beyond the barrier). Today I sat about 20 cars back and watched as our lane did not move through five light cycles as a timid driver in a white car let people to the left speed in front of him every time the light turned green. He may have been disabled, but God bless him, he let five cycles go by before he moved across from the front of the line. Granted, every time the light turned green, at least one car ran the red light from the other direction, too. It was like we were *never going to move ahead! Then, even when we entered the on-ramp, people came to the alternate entry (for those coming up Settler’s Landing the other way) and blocked it by turning *right into it because they missed the on-ramp by being in the left lane, beyond the barrier. I know the city is considering shutting down that on-ramp to local traffic but I believe you should first try enforcing the law as it is. Today, the intersection at the on-ramp was full of red light runners and people blocking the intersection for more than one light cycle. A few tickets should get the word out that we need to actually use the barrier lane the way it was intended and obey all the other traffic laws, too.”

“I really enjoyed walking here. So beautiful. In the lot you park at there is also a bathroom. and throughout the trails are trashcans and places to sit down and rest or eat at picnic tables. Very enjoyable. The trails are mainly gravel or impacted sand or dirt.”

“Not too bad, it isnt the cleanest school but the teachers are good people. I just wish it would stop focusing on doing stupid stuff and try and fix the real problems for the school.”

“So far my experience has been great. I feel my concerns were heard and taken seriously. My doctor is Dr. Kristen Holtz and she hands down amazing. She's a kind professional and didn't make me feel I was just another patient. I didn't feel rushed. I feel she genuinely cares and really wanted to get to the root of the issue. I definitely recommend her.”

“Nick is the best! I own an antique Budweiser bar sign that was given to me from my grandfather. I recently moved and the movers destroyed it. Nick came out to my house picked up the sign, repaired it and brought it back in under 24 hours for an unbelievable price. I'll be calling Nick in the future for some custom work I'm thinking of.”

“I’ve been attending Artisan Smiles, formerly Perlman Dentistry, for many years and each time the experience is more than positive. Everyone there is very nice and you can tell they care about each patient. They greet me by name when I come in and the hygienists are very gentle and thorough. They are also honest about any needed dental work without being pushy, especially if they understand you’re on a budget or between insurance policies. Would highly recommend!”

“Our family came here after hearing good things about this location. We placed our order on a self order kiosk. That was realy intersting but easy to use. I must say. We were impressed. The food was tasty. We ordered a chicken ramen bowl, pork ramen bowl and some soy Korean wings. Everything was made to order. The wings were crispy and light with just the right amount of hint of soy. The ramen bowls broth was flavorful and the the corn and edaname was a great surprise. We finished our lunch with a coffee milk Boba tea and a strawberry fruit tea both were refreshing and thirst quenching. We will definitely be back. Hands down my favorite location.”
