“I’m doing the computer-aided drafting certificate at Reynolds. I’ve taken both in-person and online classes. Overall, my experience has been pleasant. The instructors are knowledgeable, patient, and eager to help, and at only $500 a class, the school is much cheaper than four-year schools. The campus is also close to my house, parking is ample, and the school isn’t located in a heavy traffic area. The one problem I have is, as a full time, working adult, it is sometimes hard to find classes that fit my schedule. One of the classes I need for my certificate has only been offered at 12pm during the week, and I clearly can’t take that as it’s right in the middle of my work day. In the interest of fairness, though, I’m not taking a popular certificate, so there just aren’t many classes offered.”
