“Overall I have been very impressed with my experience. The place is clean an there are ample dollies to move stuff in and out. We came in with a semi moving truck and was able to offload without any issues. The staff has been very friendly and helpful. The only nitpick I have is the limited use of the moving truck. My shipment was delayed by weather so my unit stood empty for a bit and a half. The rues are that you can only use the moving truck for a specific length of time after you open the account. We were unable to use it so we rented a trailer to make the last move in. Would be nice if they removed the date limit on those trucks.”

“My daughter has been seeing Dr. Thomas since she was in her first practice at her UVA Pediatric Endocrinology clinic office and she was so fantastic that we followed her to Richmond, VA at VCU. My daughter has Type 1 Diabetes and we have been with Dr. T since 2014, she saved my daughter's life, as her first Endo was overdosing her on insulin. Dr. Thomas worked very hard to get my child to safe numbers and consistent range. She goes above and beyond to help her patients and actually listens to me and especially my child. My daughter absolutely loves her and we couldn't imagine seeing any other doctor for my daughter's diabetes and other issues that have arose over the years. She is extremely thorough and doesn't risk waiting for testing when something else arises with my daughter's health. She refers her to outside specialist whenever non endocrine related health issues arise as well. She is the best doctor we have ever had the privilege of seeing and she treats her patients like family. We drive a long way to see her and she is definitely worth the trip. She has always taken the very best care of my child and I am very grateful for her! I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for a pediatric endocrinologist! “Came here for Sunday dinner and it was fantastic. The interior looked aesthetically pleasing with it being dimly lit and modern, a blue light on the bar and beads separating two of the sections inside. Most people dined outside on the patio but we chose to dine in. There was hardly anyone inside expect the servers. Servers were attentive and nice. We knew what we wanted from looking at the menu earlier online. Our food didn’t take long to come out. I especially enjoyed the seafood dish with the scallops and lump crab— it was delicious. Salmon was also tasty. I like that they weren’t spicy. And mango lassis drink were yummy. They had the correct nectar-like consistency and went well with the food. Portions weren’t gigantic though they were filling which is good. Had a wonderful time.”

“Awesome experience! Great food. We were there on a Friday night and they had live music on the patio. The service was excellent even though they were busy. We had a party of 10 with 6 kids. They brought bread dough out for the kids to play with and then they baked it and brought it back so we could eat it. Very cool experience. Highly recommended.”

“The Boathouse offers a good assortment of meals and drinks. We started with the Crab and Artichoke dip, along with the Jalepeño hush puppies. The two appetizers were both tasty and the hush puppies are larger than I expected. I then got the lobster mac and cheese...delicious. My wife had the dynamite shrimp tacos, also very good. The drink menu offered many options, we had the Orange Crush and the Black Cherry mojito...once again both were very good. If you are in the Short Pump area, definitely try this place.”
