“Flawless! Every step of the way, from the very start has been well explained, easy to understand, transparent, and smooth. Purchasing burial plots isn't the most exciting transaction. It is also one that no one really want to think about. We didn't want to leave the burden to our children, so we decided to overcome the discomfort and go ahead and do it. Richmond Jewish Cemetery made a uncomfortable transaction into a comfortable and smooth one, where everything was well explained. The pricing is very appropriate, and the conditions of the transactions were flexible, fair and transparent. Can't say enough good thing about Richmond Jewish Cemetery. In addition, our situation was fairly unique, as I am Jewish and my husband isn't. Most Jewish cemeteries would not allow us to be buried "together". Richmond Jewish Cemetery has come up with a thoughtful plan to allow couples like ourselves to still be buried "together" while adhering to all Jewish Laws of burial. I am sure it was not easy to come up with such a thoughtful and seamless plan, yet they managed to do just that!”

“We buried our little cat there and it’s just the sweetest cemetery. We even go there sometimes to have a picnic. It’s peaceful and they take good care of her foot stone. We had a tiny ceremony that was beautiful and they let us stay there as long as we needed. Later that year they hosted an event where we let balloons go up to heaven for not only our cat but the other pet owners that had pets laid to rest there. I feel at peace knowing she’s safe with them and I’m very grateful they were there to help us through such a sad time In our lives. I never looked into the cost of their caskets or stones we actually ordered it from another place just on a whim and then found this wonderful cemetery second so I can’t speak on their prices but I will say, they knew we didn’t have a lot of money and they never made Us feel bad or any pressure, they were happy to work with us”

“This is my second time dealing with this cemetery and I was completely satisfied both times. The staff is very pleasant and attentive. I saw an issue and it was immediately put into process to be taken care. Thank you to Macrina and her staff.”

“I enjoyed working with Best Stone Innovation and I love my granite! They are a lovely family and were fun to work with throughout the entire process. The installers did.a pristine job, my granite is beautiful and was a very reasonable price. I am so glad I found them. Prior, I was steered by a contractor to use a large local competitor, who were rude, unresponsive, & miserable to deal with. I called it off at the final hour and called Best Stone at the recommendation of a friend. I’m so glad I did!”

“Take some time to appreciate those who served for freedom. Many in this cemetery are from a colored troop (CT) that stormed the fort. There a Medal of Honor recipient buried here. Simple and elegant place to show respect.”

“A beautiful place to pay respect. It's important to notice the confederate cemetery across the street and think about why these two cemeteries look so different. Check out the volunteering opportunities! These pink flags in the second picture show the revitalization efforts of uncovering and recording graves that have been engulfed by the forest. I hope they keep the trees (forested cemeteries are THE FUTURE) although I am happy to support whatever revitalization efforts suit the local community and family members of the deceased.”
