The nicest staff ever. Clean, always a rotating selection. Every month they have colored tags that are 50% off - I believe they change the 1st of the month. Interesting jewelry pieces. Furniture is well made and a reasonable price. The clothing is my favorite - I have found so many pieces still with tags, many of them designer. The funkiest coats and vintage items. My favorite thrift store by far here in Virginia.”

I would recommend anyone seeking qualified professional salespeople with impeccable customer service skills to visit Batteries Plus Bulbs #199. I have been visiting this store for years and every time I feel appreciated and welcome by the entire team. I currently live in GA. When my batteries stop working, I wait until I visit VA to take my watches to this store to get my watch batteries replace with their life-time battery policy. And I have about 7 watches listed in their system for life-time battery replacement. It doesn't matter for me; I will drive hours to get my watches service at this location. Not only is their customer service great but the way they take care of your merchandise is commendable. They treat my watches as if it was their own. “Only gave 5 stars because they didn’t have an option for 10. Where do I start?!, I never really visit roses stores because most of the time I am greeted with negativity. But I decided to give it one more try and Richard was extremely nice and probably the most helpful person I’ve ran into in the past few months. He went above and beyond in helping me get the furniture I fell in love with at a decent price. Whatever they’re paying him should honestly be doubled. It’s hard enough working through a pandemic (or panoramic like some of y’all like to say) but to work through it with such a positive attitude and such a passion for what he does is amazing and hard to come across these days. I wish him nothing but the best with everything he does!”
