My 7 year old daughter can do a back walkover on the balance beam (with assistance, of course)!!! That's just astonishing to me! “We're military, so we love to visit these time capsules and get a first-hand feel of history. I was delighted to happen upon a guided tour by a reenactor who was knowledgeable about this fort as well as the others lining this river and much much more. I also found a geocach if you're interested. There were ticks, but I didn't run into any other bug issues. The tour guide said to watch for snakes. No beach access.”

“Its a wonderful church. Rev. Church is the Pastor as well as my family and friends church. The visit was emotional cause my father, gma, aunt, glad, and many more are buried there. For the first time since November 8th, 2014 the day my father was placed in the ground I refused to go back. But I started hurting more my kids missing him everyday and him not being here with us makes things hard for us. So going to visit his grave and my family took a lot of stress off my mind. Thank you Chapel Grove for taking care of my family and friends.”

“The Catfish Bites were awesome!! I had the NC BBQ sandwich with hush puppies. I've had better BBQ it needed more vinegar. The hush puppies were really good. My wife got the salad. It was huge! My son got the chicken tenders. The service was okay but not exceptionally great. The atmosphere was ugh, should have sat outside. A little to noise but that may have been the caliber of people beside us. Other than that it will be worth coming back again for those catfish bites!”
